Our Ms. Susan is a terrific lady. Always stopped in to see if we were okay. Sometimes the head slap was warranted and she gladly obliged :smack:. LOL

Sue as well as Rob (MQQSE), we just consider them apprentices! :D
And we do need the occasional :smack: to remind us to stay in line, seems to work every time!

I wouldn't consider myself an asset, but you all let me hang around here for a few years before I turned 60, too.

I'm new here, but I just wanted to express a thought. Sometimes the straw that broke the camels back is not even remotely related to all of the other straws.

We all carry a load of some type on our shoulders. Some can be and are life changing, and life ending. We all stumble. I hope everything works out for the best in the end.

    Morning all:
I would consider you an asset Mark, as well as the others that regularly post on here.

I only met her once, but yesterday Bill stopped by to drop off some Maine sportsman's and Northwoods sporting journals, he mentioned that his mom is still going strong at 102 years old, amazing!

God bless her. A long life well lived. Just think of the events she has seen in her lifetime. Amazing.

Good Morning Rob. How did the hunt go? Did you have a good time? You missed our exciting times while you were gone. All is good on the porch now. Welcome back

Hi Ken, hunt went good. Filled our tags with two bou cows, meat for the freezer. Big crowd of hunters this year, 3 times as many as last year, we got "zinged" overhead by bullets 3 times...little scary that. We might not do this hunt next year. :notsure:

A little drama once in a while to stir ya'll up a bit can't hurt too much. ;)
Glad it was sorted quickly.

Afternoon folks, any room left on the porch? Do I get a :smack: for not coming up sooner? Turned 61 last month and don't feel a day over 60.

It's 110 heat index today in Arkansas, think I'll stay inside and think about the things I gotta do outside....

A well aimed word is ok, but don't need so many in a conversation. Glad this got handled, shows this IS the spot to hang out for a friendly conversation.

Welcome Pete, or is that PP? :)
Grandparents on my dad's side were from Little Rock. Sure there are some relatives there, might shoot first, ask questions later.

Always room for another regardless of age. Just pull up a spot and make sure the cooler has ice and your favorite beverage and join in with the conversations. Welcome to the porch edit.jpg
