I thought that was on the table just out of reach.

    Evening all:

Not even close Gary, I respected Jim a lot, there is a vacant recliner on the porch waiting for him that is off limits to anyone else!
He changed his avitar, his first one showed him siting on a tin roof or something over in Nam with a large scoped M-14. He served on the river boats, and whatever he used that weapon for wasn't routine, he never really talked about what he was involved in over there, just that he served on the PBR's, thus his screen name river rat 69.

:hattip: Carl, glad to see you on here.

Don't stress too much over some butthead...it'll pass. I respect you so much, and appreciate your efforts keeping this thread a nice place.

Gosh, I sure miss Jim...his posts were the ones that initially drew my attention in here, IIRC.

Yep, that was the idea. Lost my dominate eye vision about 14 months ago, still trying to save some peripheral vision so right eye is now filled with oil. I decided to try something that I normally would never do with one eye but did not have to do it to my truck window. I like it though so that’s all that matters.

Well, tell someone where to go if you have to. Saw this on my recent backpack trip here in Kalifornia into the Hoover Wilderness next to Yosemite NP.

    Afternoon all:
Perfect timing! I was in the process of cleaning the coal stove when the phone rang, coal is being delivered tomorrow morning.
Now we're all set for winter, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! :(

:annoyed:Just heard some bad news, one of the guys that I worked with worked for a golf course after the Steel shut down, he was recently killed when he flipped a zero turn while mowing on the course. Nice guy and he loved to golf, and probably enjoyed working at the course, shame that that had to happen. RIP Frank!

I guess you could say Frank died doing what he loved; or at least on a golf course.

It is later than we think and the death rate is still 100%. I have made the decision that insures I will spend eternity in a better place. Hope to see all my TW friends there.

Carl: Sorry you lost another friend.

For my back issues I found that stretching has worked wonders. I have also dropped a decent amount of fat that has helped too.

Today I start to paint a shed on the side of the house. A job that is long overdue.

Kalifornia is at it again. Trying to undo a law that added a year to certain crimes where the offender had previous convictions. They say rehab isn't working, so to save taxpayer $$$ by keeping criminals in prison longer, they want to roll back that enhancement. Trying to save us money? When did that become a concern?
