Hi all! Have a great day!!

Ken - new job doesn't start until 1 July. Going through transition - and working with the trustee rep to draft my contract. They didn't start the roof yet - delivered materials and the dumpster yesterday. Not sure if they'll get going today or wait until after tonight's snow.

Feeling older myself today. All the paint fumes and dust is making me cough a lot. I do not really like the coughing part at all. Cleaned the windows today after I put the final coat of paint on the walls in the bathroom. Once the closet doors are hung today I will begin painting them.

I need to go to the HD for two register covers and to look at outlet covers.

I has no before pics but I should take some after pics.

Morning all! A dusting of snow last night. I was doen in Phildelphia for a 76'ers game - had to be the worst game I've seen. I don't think the 6'ers hit 30% from the floor. At least I had great seats and some friends to talk to!!

    Work day again today!!

 Mornin' "6"! I'll trade your dusting of snow for the freezing rain I drove in through tonight....deal ;) ? Glad I'm on nights and commute during low traffic times. Watching the inbound folks in the morning while I'm outbound heading home ought to be interesting.

Have a great day .... and God Bless you and yours! :oldglory:

morning all: HMMMM! remember a post about BAC, and I didn't want to pull the trigger. just didn't trust it, and didn't want to invest the kind of money in it that would be needed to make really good gains. WELL- $8.22, up from $4.96. 60+ % gain. oh well :pout: hindsight is easy.
I guess a FEW new tacomas will have to stay at the dealer !
now lets see; how long would it take to make 60%, at the .13% I'm making at the bank, or 1.25% MM, or 2.25% CD.?
maby I can write it off on income tax. I should have made it , but I didn't, so I lost it. OH WAIT; that's only for big corporations.
funny. am watching CNN money, as I'm posting. cramer mentioned the IRS position;" YOUR GUILTY UNTILL YOU PROVE YOUR INOCENT"

    morning all.

No snow or rain here, but I did have to scrape the windows this morning.

Carl, remember it's special rules for special people and us "common folk" don't qualify. Like Congress and their "insider trading" that would have gotten any of us sent to jail, but was "ok" for them

thanks jim: I really needed that. but LOSSES hurt! (just mentally). it's the long run that counts. it seems every advisor said to stay away from financials. SHOWS WHAT THEY KNOW! 60+% gain is good $.
we had posted on this before, on how they can take investors money, not have to pay any debt (or pennies on the dollar), reorganize, issue new shares, and business as usual. GM, which you mentioned, is a prime example.
shouldn't be too concerned about cap.gains anymore-BUT, they're there to be HARVESTED!!!
