Out running my wood splitter already, refilling my woodshed. Usually still too much snow around my stacked rounds and what was at the bottom would be wet. Should have half a row filled in my shed in a few days if my back is ok. Trying to take it easy, working an hour or so at a time, back has been hurting the last couple months, guess taking a maul to those concrete chunks last Fall wasn't a good idea.

We're not getting any younger Duane. I used to do everything in and outside the house, on the car and Tacoma etc. Now I have problems getting up from the floor, my knees hurt when the barometer changes and I don't do anything lifting over 75 pounds...you need to take it slower and pace your jobs. Take care.

I’ve been treating my back kindly for about 20 years now. I can still do a lot, just have to spread it out over time. And watch how I do stuff.

I've had a bad back for over 30 years, Chiropractor helps a little. My neck gives me more issues. At least since retiring, I have not gotten vertigo, have laid down a few times because not feeling right, but no dizziness. Before retiring, I had to limit hard physical work to a hour or two a day, now I seem to be able to go until I run out of energy.

Good morning y'all. Saw a bunch of Robin's early week in a pasture on the way to town, none at my place yet. Couple geese out in the pasture at a ranch I walk by when I camp.

:pccoffee:  Good morning old farts and Susan. It's supposed to be a sunny day today, high 40's. My dad is due to be released from the hospital. I think I'll go pick him up in the convertible. :drevil:

Weekends around here are a reason to stay home to avoid all the working city slickers who invade the area on Sat and Sun.

    Morning/ Afternoon All

Duane @hikerduane sounds like a lot of work filling the woodshed, take your time and take care.

Ken @johneman the weather is going to be in the 50's today so clear off a place on the porch. I'm ready to spend the day outside, unfortunately (or fortunately) snow returns late tonight.

I'm getting ready to visit San Antonio later this week. We were planning on taking a tour of the Toyota plant there, but as of a few weeks ago the tours were filled on our available days. Guess, we will do the tourist thing and visit the River Walk and Fredericksburg.

    Cheers 4BYTOY

Hi 4by, if it snows tonight, just clear the porch and make sure the coffee is hot for the morning:)...when we were in Colorado in '81 I said to a local fellow that it was cold and he said "stick around it will change shortly". It did! Got damn colder:rofl:.

Good morning, all!! I love showing off this new truck @4BYTOY !! I can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can spend more time with it outdoors and not have it coated with mud every time I drive down our road.

Rob, it looks like you had a great time with all that snow! Winchman Supreme!!

Ken - this is my favorite time of day - quiet and peaceful here at Mighty Mortgage Manor.

I think we are in for an early spring here in the northeast - the warmer weather birds are starting to return already. I've seen several Red Wing Blackbirds in the past two days and heard a flock of geese flying north on Friday evening. Come on, warm weather!!!
