    Evening all:

    Hi Sue!
Also was wondering about flu related deaths. They seem to vary by quite a bit year to year, but it looks like 2017-18 was a bad one with 80,000 US deaths and
not a blink in the economy. Beginning to wonder if we aren't being told everything as for not to create an all out panic, which would really be bad. :notsure:
If you remember, I had posted about Germany and the flu awhile back, seems like Germans either don't get hit hard with the flu, and those that do get it usually get a mild version, just saw where they aren't getting hit as hard with Covid deaths as the rest of Europe either.
The article I read mentioned that the Germans eat quite a bit of sauerkraut, is there a connection :notsure:! After reading the article I started eating sauerkraut around the beginning of flu season and just had some for supper, can't hurt, and maybe, just maybe, there is something to it!

    Well, this is interesting.
My wife asked me to get milk this am. So of course I went, gloves on.
At the check out I was told that they're not accepting cash. They're only taking debit or charge.
    Just an fyi.

We just got the “STAY AT HOME”...

I guess the boat will kept under the cover for another month.

I wonder if I will get stopped on the Harley going to work
    once it warms up some?

    One day at a time.

I have my papers with me.

Not been asked or pulled over. Although been enjoying the OVT Tune on empty roads.

At work again. Our industry is deemed essential. Satellites needed until the very end I guess. :D:p I work a new kind of shift split up so us engineers keep distant. I work 4am to 11AMish then home and a few hours WFH. If anyone cares.

On a serious note my wife is really feeling the stress. She has to go work at the hospital. She could use prayers and good vibes. Thanks

    Morning all:
A big THANKS to all those involved in the healthcare system, those people are on the frontlines right now.

Mike, I was wondering the same thing, if I am towing the boat up to the river and get stopped, could I use the excuse that I'm going shopping for food! :D

    Monroe county=little NY.
Almost all the counties around Carbon county have hundreds of cases, we aren't there yet, think we're at 21. I'm sure as our part time neighbors from NY, NJ, and also Philadelphia, filter in and out of here, we will catch up! :(
Hopefully they can at least get the proper protective equipment where it's needed to help those working in hospitals etc., keeping them as safe as possible should be the #1 priority.

    Morning fine folks :hattip:.
First let me send out a heart felt THANK YOU to the folks that have health care workers on the front line. I hope and pray they stay safe. All of the healthcare, EMT's, ambulance operators, police and fire folks are the heroes on the front line.
I went into the local WAWA to get a gallon of milk yesterday and there was plenty of milk, food stuff and 2 people making hoagies etc. They had the social distancing lines on the floor at the registers and a plexiglass panel separating the cashier from the customer with a cutout to slide purchases through. They were still accepting cash but I found it easier and safer to use the debit card(although one still has to touch the key pad) so after I was done out came the hand sanitizer I carry and cleaned my hands. Life is different now, but I guess we have to do what needs to be done to stay safe...especially at our ages. Stay safe out there folks. And a little laugh for the morning... I can relate to this....

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
Duane, Missouri has 25 counties with under 10,000 pop., with 7 of those under 5K people. We are a fairly large state with some very lightly populated areas. Several years back when I drove all over the state with my networking job (Mo. state worker) , I remember driving one 25 mile stretch on a paved state maintained road in South central Mo for 30 minutes without passing or meeting another car. That's RURAL!

In a few trips to Minnesota, Montana and last summer up to Idaho again, Oregon and Washington, puts aside my preconceived images of those states. Like people react to me when they learn I'm from California, I'm not a city slicker. Rural, central Montana really got me thinking how lucky I am to be only 9 miles or so from town. Those ranches spread across Montana were an hour or two from town. Gotta have a great wife to live like that.

I've been doing some work on my irrigation system. Replaced a few sprinkler heads, and added 3 new ones.

Made several trips to Home Depot...it wouldn't be right to not forgot something!

Went back Monday,. and they only had one entrance door open, and were limiting the amount of people in the store at a time. Needless to say the line to get in was most long.

Left and went to Lowes and it was business as usual. There was a 70+ year old employee in a wheel chair that asked me if I found everything I needed.

Apparently someone said a boat is ok here.
I can’t confirm it but I would go with getting food

:hattip: Carl. don't think that one spread the way this one is :notsure:

boats banned here as of 5 pm today..... too many last weekend out enjoying the water in big groups.... guess the "group of 3" didn't apply to them, so they screwed it up for everyone.

Did you see the folks that had the 1 yo birthday party broken up?? Like a 1 yo is even going to remember it. A lot of the folks were back talking the police that were trying to break up the gathering. Again, guess the social distancing is for other people and not us!!?!?!

    evening all
