Are those wife code words for no more fun this week? Or the opposite?

Got our stimulus checks - in our old bank account in San Diego..... Thought they would look are where our SS is deposited now. Now I have to add the old account back into my bill pay until I can spend it all.

Duane, I know how you feel. Have a blood vessel in my left nostril that just opens up - no rhyme or reason and it is heck to stop. Found out nose spray and then a coat of vasaline works.

pic is not safe for squeamish

No bleeding out today for me. Hit the store, eggs and paper towels were in stock today, no potatoes, only two bananas which was all I wanted. Lots of empty shelves, store can only get what they are sent, a Safeway store. Maybe need to look at the other two stores in town next trip.
Cut two loads of firewood yesterday, then today after the grocery shopping and letting it warm up some, cut the last of the windfall I was cutting on yesterday. Nice load. Spring hits, then there is a shitload of work to do, thrown in your lap.

Wow. I get nosebleeds in winter, from dry air. I have blood vessels close to the surface and I guess the dry air makes the skin dry enough that it cracks easily and presto. For example I'll get up in the morning, wash my face, and my nose will erupt. It can be pretty much blood too. I don't have any particular tricks for making it stop other than kleenex and time. I went to my ENT about it and they said they could cauterize and so on but that they've never really been happy with the results. So I haven't done anything about it. I am very careful to keep my nostrils moisturized in the winter time, which has helped a lot to prevent them.

Yours sound worse than mine to be honest.

Worse part is it just happens...
In a grocery store, thought everyone thought I had ebola.

That is one - have had it happen dozens of time, including day after day.

Good side, it really drops the blood pressure...

Actually, my 3rd detached retina in the left eye, the eye drops I had to use - 4 different ones, 5 to 6 times a day - drained thru my tear duct to my nose and caused it. So the choice was be blind (again) or weird ass nose bleeds.

Well there's that, I guess. Glad you can find something on the light side. . . or is that the light headed side?

Good morning all!! Today is my wife Lynn's 65th birthday - mine is 2 weeks from today - so we officially enter the high-risk Medicare crowd. I'm going to get a take out dinner from her favorite restaurant since we can't got there to celebrate. The years sure do fly by!!

    Be safe out there!!
