What did Duane get banned for...Did I miss something? I hope it's not a permanent ban!!!

I try to avoid anything that even resembles politics anymore. It's not worth the energy.

So many things are politicized these days, it can be easy to forget just in the course of normal conversation.

I hope Duane posts again too. I still don't know everything there is to know about antique gas lanterns and stoves...

Susan or anyone, do you know if the ban is a total lockout from the site, or is just a posting ban?

 

I got 30 days (Feb-Mar) for asking folks to contact reps.........total lock out from the site. Whatever. Yeah I won't do that again, but some folks get 7 days........just saying. I don't even know what Duane posted.

 

I saw what Duane said. It was a comment made in passing and I doubt he even realized it was considered political. I thought at the time it Was borderline political but didn’t think it was a “ban” offense.

 

I get it. People get very heated about such stuff and best to keep it clear...........

I built two 1" aluminum disc spacers to put under the rear of the drivers seat tracks - just to try out the idea. Its on this site somewhere - changes your view across the hood a bit. In a couple of days (trips to the grocery) I didn't notice it any more. Probably from unconscious readjustment of the seat controls.
Biggest advantage found: provides a larger storage space under the rear of the driver seat.

Good morning fellow inmates. I stepped outside this morning and was greeted by cool temps, what a nice change from the heat and humidity of Southeast Texas.

 

Let's hope that the scientists are right about the heat (ultra violet ray's) and humidity are going put the skids on the COVID-19 in the outside environment
