That is exactly the trouble I have with this, no real reason to have such a short life. My F-150 did 5 years of sub-zero starts and another 4 in Tucson heat before the battery quit. Usually when you suffer a heat problem with a conventional battery a dry cell creeps into the mix - and vigilance pays some dividends. I'm not a believer in "zero-maintenance", so I look. Maybe over-charging while driving?

Hi susan. How is Annie doing? Did you figure out a wheel device for her? I might have to do one for my buddy Angus. He broke his leg and needs surgery to repair it. 5173.jpg
He'll be laid up awhile and wont be mobile.

@Devius6 (I don't know what does but I see all the cool kids doing it )...
Mark, I'm almost positive we've met. I believe it was summer time'ish of 18.
    We met in your driveway!
Did you have a quad serviced at a powersports dealer in Dunmore?
I was the guy that delivered back to you.

    That is pretty neato.

Well my Coast Guard (academy grad this month) son in law (future), who has been living in place, at our place, had his 2019 Taco delivered yesterday - all the way from New London Connecticut - dirty but unscathed. Two 2019 Tacomas here.............wife likes his 4 door, better than my real pick-up truck access cab. :D:eek::cool:

So golf courses are set to open here, but had difficulty getting a t-time. Got me the first available time next week, and can't wait. There are all kinds restrictions, but it will be better than staying home. Planning to walk, no carts, so will at least be some good exercise.

Today was a day for me! I've been doing things for everyone else and not much for me. I was headed down to get some more pen parts so I ran by the recycling center and got rid of a bunch of crap that was piling up around my shop. On the way home ran by a car wash and got the crud knocked off the truck and then headed back to the shop to turn a new pen for ME!!!

Poor pup. Feel better fast Angus. How'd he do that? Ken, Annie is going downhill, but to kind of be expected at her age. She sleeps a lot, but still is ready for food and while she doesn't pester for walks anymore (or try and lead us the long way around the 'hood) she still loves to go - although she just walks/strolls now. No more power walking. Haven't had a chance to work on the wheels for her, will try this weekend.

Congrats to the "kid" on his new truck.

    evening all

I hear you.... My draft rating was "women and children first cuz they can see what they are shooting at"
Still volunteered in '68 and they told me I could join but no combat MOS. Bet you you know how that worked out.

Good Morning All . Sun is out and the Temperature is up... makes for a great day. Be safe and be well.

Good morning Ms Susan, It was a freak thing that happened. Him and their other dog Arya were running out of the house and down the steps when Arya bumped Angus, pushing him into the railing and Angus's foot bent to the side and Arya accidentally stepped on it causing the ankle to break. The Vet gave them 2 options. Try to set it and hope it heals well enough(because of the break) or surgery which will have a better outlook and less chance of Angus having any issues other than possibly a minor limp. He goes in Wednesday. On a good note, because both my son and DIL are working, we get to baby sit:).

Stay safe and be well and hope you can come up with something for Annie. Take care.

Thanks Mark, He isn't my dog, but he is a big part of our family. Deb and I went over to see him yesterday and even with his leg in a splint and on pain meds(plus he is supposed to be kept quiet), he went to his toy box and brought out a tennis ball so I would play ball with him. He is a real trooper. Be safe and enjoy the weather. We were planning on going up country yesterday but postponed it due to Angus breaking his ankle.
