Good Morning, folks! Looks like a great weekend ahead for us here in northeast PA - plan to spend a lot of it around our pool. I take the Tacoma in for it's 6 month service - not quite 2k miles on it at this point - on Monday. Opted to take it back to the dealership where I bought it instead of the local Scranton dealership for the first one. About 1.5 hours away - I really just want to get some more break-in miles on it at this point.

    Be safe out there!

    Good Morning folks.

I hope it is downgraded to a tropical storm cheech. But in case it doesn't, be safe.

Pool day sounds great Mark, enjoy the day. I have been taking my Tacoma to the dealership for just about all of my checks, repairs and recalls. so far they haven't let me down. They try the usual " oh we saw this or it needs the air filter changed etc. etc." and I just tell them I'll take care of it which I do. No complaints. Hope yours does as good a job.

Have a good day and be safe all.

We would gladly share some of that with you. My gauge reads 8 1/2 inches for the year.

    Happy Belated Birthday, Sprig!!

Good morning from northeast PA! It's supposed to be two hot days here - 90 today and 94 tomorrow. Need to spend some time working the bees today and tomorrow morning I take the truck in for it's 6 month service.

Be safe and enjoy the day!!!

:hattip: Morning folks. Hot is the new normal here as well Mark. One positive for me about the Covid is I am not racking up any mileage on my Tacoma. The dealership keeps contacting me that I'm due for an oil change and I tell them maybe in another month or two :D. Take care and be safe.

Good morning 60 somethings. This week this 67 year old finally joined the 21st century. I traded in my 15 year old flip phone for a smartphone. Don't really know why I waited so long, just don't like change I guess.

A lot to be said for flip phones. Easier to use. But I gave mine up to try to keep up with technology o_O. The older I get the harder that is becoming. Thank goodness for the Grand kids to help out when I have problems :).

At the same time I switched from Verizon to T-Mobile and now have unlimited data, calling and texting for a whopping $.57 more than I was paying before for just a phone.

Good morning, everyone!!! I hope everyone in Hawaii and Texas are safe and dry.

Another hot one today - we're projected at 94 up here in NEPA.

I'm headed out this morning to get the 6 month service on the truck - just under 2000 miles on the odo so just over by the time I get there. Odie got a bath yesterday before it got too hot. Ready to ride.

Mine could use a couple minor repairs best done at a shop. I don't drive it much, so I'll wait a while. I don't want to have to wipe everything down before I drive it home. IDK if that's even necessary, but trying to be as safe as possible. Common sense seems to be working for us. Who knew!

Welp, Started my truck this morning, no brakes! Looked around, found a rear brake line rusted into. No time to fix it right now, it's a tow. This happened to my first car, 50 years ago. I wondered then why they don't make stainless steel lines. I guess I know the answer. Might as well get everything fixed while it's there. My service writer bud says "it will go to pot if you don't drive it once in a while", sigh..

May sell it, I'm prolly on my last driver license, eyesight getting worse. Might Carvana it, don't relish dealing with a private sale.. too many issues, people being what they are sometimes.

Sounds like the down pipe back scratcher for someone.

    Nice looking truck Mark.

Somehow I am not getting notifications of new posts even though I am subscribed to the thread. Any suggestions? I am usually in a hurry in the AM to do outside work around the house. It is just too hot after 10am here lately.
