anyone here dealing with "Trigger Finger", and if so what have you done to help fix it. I have 2 appointments this week. 1 for carpal tunnel testing, and 2nd for MRI of both hands. this shit is painful as hell, and is driving me nuts. wakes me up at night, and in the morning I can barely move my fingers.

My sister just had surgery - they corrected both Carpal Tunnel and Trigger Finger on her left hand. She recovered quickly and was back playing golf in a week.

I washed, dried and then applied a coat of Meguiar's X-Press Spray Wax to Odie this morning...

...and while I'm waiting for the Demon Brackets to be delivered, I color-matched the shackles.

Welcome to all the new folks on the thread. I don't post much but I do follow the thread daily.

One of my brothers had a serious case of "trigger finger" ..... officially known as "stenosing tenosynovitis". Probably due to years of squeezing tubes of icing decorations on wedding/birthday et.al. cakes in a bakery. He recently had surgery on the finger and is now doing fine. Bottom line: it can be fixed.

Hope everyone is doing well, wearing masks, and wishing this pandemic would GO AWAY!! I know I am.

    Tex

Part of it is if we post some kind of opinion some may take it as policy. When I see people posting bad info (and I feel the need to get involved) to an audience that's really wanting good info I will refer them to the office or their local office. Then the people in the office can either answer questions, direct them to a good web page or person who has the specfic area or project or send out whatever info they're looking for. All it takes is a screen shot to for employees to get in deep.

My brother had to take down his Facebook page. The page was not in his name but under a pseudonym he used for a business he had when he was young.

Completely off topic but observations while floating in the 90 degree pool water. We are flanked by 2 empty houses with another 2 empty across the street (due to deaths).

I'm watching squirrels dart in & out of one house's siding & peeking out through the mini blinds. Squirrels gotta live too.

Just don't understand why families would let houses sit unattended for years. In the last 20 years there have been 15 deaths on our block. That's life.

But the current real estate value has increased tenfold. Just wondering.

House across our street has been empty for at least 15 years. Still owned and used as a Tax shelter
For an out of stater. Run down. They come up once a year to “spruce it up”.
    Well can’t be spruced anymore.
I know animals are in there. I’m starting to see people walking up and down in there now..
Just as well. One less chance of another asshole moving in the neighborhood. The one next to me is enough..

The last company I worked for has a "social media policy". When they wanted us to sign it I said I'd have to have my lawyer look over any document that surrendered any of my rights. They got real quiet and then went away.

If you do not do it on their time, on their equipment or network it is none of their business. And if you want you can say anything about them that is true. As an example when then took over my employer two folks including the company told us three lies in the first few minutes. They didn't like it when I wrote about it. But, I invited them to show me how I had reported a false incident.

Always question the legality and more importantly the motives of anyone who will restrict your freedoms.

I'm not a legal expert but employers in most states, if not all, are "at will" meaning they can fire you for any reason at all unless you have a binding contract stating otherwise. There are exceptions like if you were injured and collected workman's comp. But even then you would likely have to have some evidence that was why they fired you.

I'm not saying that's right but that's the way it is.

Fathom. You may well be right but you can still sue for wrongful termination. Or at the very least give them a big black eye in their industry. Too many folks just roll over these days.

    evening all.

Reading too many articles of folks, mainly teachers, getting fired when they haven't "toed the line" aka drank the kool aid and agreed with the majority. Folks only allowed to have an opinion if it agrees with the majority :notsure: :annoyed:
