60+ year old thread.

Happy Thanksgiving fellow oldsters! Due to Covid, we are not having our normal Thanksgiving dinner, just my two kids, DIL and the wife. Since the DIL works today and Sunday, we decided to have our turkey last Sunday.
Our 37th wedding anniversary was yesterday. Wife never remembers, even if it falls around Thanksgiving every year...you think she's trying to tell me something?

Trying to decide whether to sit around watching football or go fishing. Fish sounds good for dinner.

 

Almost....about an hour to go.

Should have seen those holsters when cooked on the Weber! A little close to the edge they were!

 

Due to the DIL not coming up until friday evening, we will have our Thanksgiving dinner then. So tonite we had home made cheese steaks on Amoroso rolls.

Should be a quiet day here - probably carry some boxes of Christmas decorations up from the storage room since Lynn likes to decorate for Christmas right after Thanksgiving.

Yep, the "official" weekend for decorating. Rain going to slow me down outside, but I'm sure after the Longhorns game, we'll be getting the inside crates down from the attic. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, and how did my refrigerator get so empty?

Friend and i plan to watch the ND - UNC game. Im sure the wife will have me fetching the totes full of Christmas decorations. Think i may go pick up a honey baked ham to go with the leftover rolls.
