That is a hilarious image. Two cars roaring down the quarter mile in silence, no roar, just silence. Yep that would be boring.

My Mrs still works for a local fire district (HR) - you should see the training stuff they have about electric cars........ haz mat city. Toxic gases abound - and some of the wreck footage looks like a welder ran amuck. No regulations exist about a universal shut-off. SCBA's just to pullout the survivors - crazy stuff.

They are finding that firefighters have some huge increased risk of cancer as time goes by - all of the plastics, adhesives and coatings are bad actors in a fire. Even the smothering foam has had its effect.

Here too, except it turned out to be 2" of sloppy wet snow, and then warming just enough to rain from the trees next day.
Uniform of the day will be a wet sweat shirt.:annoyed:

Good morning folks. Rain is here as well and occasionally some high wind gusts. Thankfully no need to go out.

three years ago, an enterprising person opened an indoor electric go cart track . Kind of reminded me of my younger years when slot car tracks were abundant and all you would hear was the whine of the electric motors racing around the track.

Have a great day and stay dry.

Well , i got lucky. All the gas line work was in the basement. Ran the gas line thru the floor , set his cabinet on top . They really put out the heat.
