All of you guys can keep your snow, no thanks!

Mark, I'm thinking my entire lot is smaller than maybe 1/4th of your driveway...and I have to have a yardman come to do my yardwork!

Glad to hear the wife is OK, Ken!!!

Moving to a new computer is one of the things I hate most - always seem to lose out on apps and programs I purchased and then have to purchase again. Ugh.

We have 57 acres and I plow our drive and he driveway of the original farmhouse on the property - Lynn's mom still lives there on her own at 94.

After plowing and shoveling this morning, I cleared off the spa and we spent 15 minutes soaking in it. Perfection!!

Dang, what a day around the porch!

I know that hectic route Ken! This year, glad it's just been me in the hospital. Glad your wife is OK, mine was in and out for vascular surgeries like 6 times before I retired, and it got hectic every time no matter how well planned!
And yeah, I had to rebuild the Chromebook last year because it puked it's WiFi, and then the Dell this past Christmas because Hard Drive, and those two systems are SO compatible!

My postage stamp yard fits in his driveway, and I will take the 2" every 3 years that melts next day. Worse than that, and Central Texas shuts down anyway! I grew up in Michigan, and cut my tunnel out of the great blizzard of 1978 when the drifts literally covered my home!

I spent the day in the garage again, which is better than in a dog house. I'll probably bore you with that in a few!

Good morning all!!! Another day closer to the end of 2020!! Woo hoo!!

Lynn and I took our Covid tests yesterday after our short trip to Florida last week. We are self-quarantining until we get the results back just to be safe.

    Live it large!!

Smart move Mark. My cousins son son was supposed to have his College ROTC graduation ceremony today. My cousins family live in Florida and have been hit hard by Covid 19. Both him and his girlfriend came down with Covid 19. He plans on an Army career. The young man is smart and a decent guy. The Army will lucky to have him on board. I am encouraged that young men and women want to serve our country in the military.

    Morning all:

    X2!

Was looking at covid in Pa by zip code, a few days ago it was 291 in our zip code, now it's at 360, even though the big majority of people I see are wearing masks this virus is still spreading fast. :( Not seeing any statistics or news articles about the flu, hopefully there won't be a double wammy if it's also a bad year also for the flu.
Lets see, Covid shot, flu shot, shingles shot, tetanus shot ,----did I forget any!

I don't think you get rabies shots until you need them, maybe snake venom to build up immunity just in case!

Very few people get the rabies vaccine. It’s generally restricted to those likely to come into contact with rabid animals. Animal control and maybe some game folks.

Good Afternoon folks. Thanks all for the well wishes for the wife. Slowly she is getting better. As I'm typing, she is making me her specialty Apple, Cranberry , Walnut pie. Delicious. She uses 5 different kinds of apples which adds to the flavor .

I have to totally agree with you on that Carl. I look at some jobs and my back hurts LOL:rofl:

New computers are a pain Mark, I had to save all my old files to an external drive and clear out all the old stuff on the computer. Now to go through all my files on the external drive:facepalm:. That should take about a month or two or three.

My hat is off to your cousins son. Thank him for his commitment on joining the service. I have said right along, that every high school grad (man or woman) should be required to do at least 2 years military service. There will be exceptions but the time in service will help them in their future endeavors. My Grand daughter married a marine who is in Japan for 6 months. I told him to lay off the Saki and geisha girls or :infantry:else...just kidding, he's a good kid :fingerscrossed:.

Hey Cheech, that is some beautiful landscape. great picture thanks for brightening my snowy day.

If you can believe what you read on the internet, as of today Covid 19 is the leading cause of death in America. I have quite a few health care professionals in my family and all agree that the health of persons that had Covid 19 and survived will have implication's both in the near future and down the road for years to come. Crazy stuff too. Baldness, heart attacks and back pain are just three of the short term problems.

Studies show that meals with a lot of people, or in restaurants are the main contributors for the spread of the virus. This Christmas we are have my family over for a bonfire, outside, featuring hot chocolate, cookies and your beverage of choice. A lot of us are in our 60's and 70's now with old age type of health issues. Have a merry Christmas and act responsible.

COVID-19 is now leading cause of death in the U.S.: 'The death toll is quite staggering' [Video] (aol.com)

A little something every chance we get.
    Sad fact:
"More people in the United States have died this year from Covid-19 than were killed in four years of fighting on the battlefields during World War II, according to the latest NBC News data. The death toll from the pandemic as of Thursday afternoon was 292,098 and counting, the figures show."

    Happy fact:
We got married on the palace grounds on the other side of your beautiful island @cheech1 ! On Lei Day, 1985! We did make it far enough out of the city to snorkel at Hunama Bay (sp?)

    I'll bore you later fact:
I am just DAMN excited about progress in the garage!
