Let me know if they need any help. Depending on where in southern Maryland they are at I am anywhere from 30 to 60 miles away in Bowie MD.

    Paul, the lights look great.

Mark, I don't know if 2020 was good enough to be Mickey Mouse, it was sort of a Donald Duck year. LOL

    Good morning and Merry Christmas!!

Lots of rain and snow melt yesterday and overnight - and wicked winds that howleduntil they just seemed to suddenly stop around 3 AM. I can hear the stream roaring - will go out later to see if we have any trees down.

We normally put up an old artificial tree in our dining room and then also get a 10 to 12 ft real tree for the Great Room. We didn't want to get it before we went to Florida. By the time we got home, self-quarantined, took the Covid test and got the results, all of the large trees were gone and our normal tree farm where we buy was closed. Tree shortage this year apparently. So, yesterday, Lynn went out and cut some pine boughs and we made our 2020 Christmas tree for the Great Room. Actually, pretty appropriate for this year.

    2020Christmas Tree 1.jpg 2020Christmas Tree 2.jpg

Despite all the difficulties of the year, Lynn and I have been blessed with health, happiness, wonderful family and friends- including all of you here. Thanks for helping to make my life richer and full of fun.

    Merry Christmas to you all!!!!

    Morning all:
    MERRY CHRISTMAS! :santa:

Another welcome to the 60+ porch for the new arrivals.

:(, dang Dave, can only hope that all turns out for the best for your wife's son.

Talking about trees down Mark, yesterday afternoon I went outside just at the right time and heard a tree crash down somewhere on the ridge behind the yard, and it wasn't even windy yet. Still raining here, and with all the rain we had, and the warm temps., the snow we had is completely gone.

Looks great Mark. Our local Lions club sells 500 trees every year as a fund raiser. Sold out in less than a week. I also noticed that a lot more home had outside light decorations this year. My son's outside display won a Spirit of Bowie award. There were close to 50 winners this year.

I was gonna do a massive quote thing but I’m on an iPad. So just let me say thanks for the prayers vibes offers. His heart stopped at 12:36am Christmas morning but they got him fired up again. Turned him over late today onto his stomach to make breathing easier. We continue the vigil with a bit more hope.
