Good morning, all!! The tree service cutting up the tree that fell on Lynn's greenhouse. ALmost all the window frames are bowed, many windows are broken, damage to the edges of the roof on both sides and several support beams cracked. Probably just going to tear it down and put up a real greenhouse. We'll see what the insurance company gives us.

Quiet day in store here. Need to repair a leak in the master bath sink cold water handle. Lynn takes her final exam this evening for the Master Gardner class she's been enrolled in for the past 6 months and then we are heading down to the college's student-run restaurant for our first dinner out since last fall.

Life is good. Stay safe and warm!

    Good morning folks. :hattip:
Nothing much happening down here in Florida. It's getting a bit boring. At home there is always something to do or tinker with. I do enjoy the warm weather and lack of snow, but there is only so much beach and pool one can take.
Hope Lynn aces her exam Mark. Best of luck to her.
Have a safe day and be creful.

    Morning all!
I'm supposed to play golf today (some consider this an expensive walk).
Looking forward to seeing a couple of old HS buddies. One is a pilot and they are flying in just to hang out a few hours and lose our balls .
I am a pitiful golfer, but it should be fun!

We have had a wonderful 72F clear blue sky day—a nice change from that 7F day a few weeks ago.

The rubber bed mat arrived yesterday. Long bed OEM PT580-35050. Does the jog of keeping boxes from sliding around the bed. 32 pounds.

I did order skid plates and rock sliders. Sliders went on sale, shipped from Fort Worth. I'm old, don't plan on using either but one rock into rocker panel pinching a door is bad news. Cheap insurance when driving solo on backcountry roads. "Those, no dear, that was just old pipe I had sitting around in the shop." Years back, I had a JD2 hydraulic bender that was a fun tool, but you could spend money like crazy trying to get just the right bend. I should have welded up scrap and called it "Art" and sold it for more than a roll cage. Getting too old, and my doc doesn't recommend arc nor tig welding with the brain pacemaker installed.

I do still have some 5052 aluminum in the shop. Need to check what thickness. Tailgate cooking, flat-panel comes in handy for a stove and cutting board when camping. I'll make up an undersize wood panel as a guide. Use a wood router and beeswax or wd40 and move fast and you can cut aluminum pretty well. Oh, that guide board is cut in two so you have a handy cutting board.

CoTA (Circuit of the Americas) will open up bike night next week. One night a week you get the 3.5-mile track to just bikes. They banned electric bicycles, which is good. I used to do sidecar motorcycle racing (I was on that platform) in my teens. Just once was enough to convince me that was crazy, but fun. So riding my three-wheel recumbent brings back memories as I am leaning way over to keep the inside wheel on the ground. I flipped once, cheese grated my forearm to the bone. No fun at all, but came home dripping in blood. I'm 62 going on 6 years old and having too much fun.

Need to find a cat scale for weighing to keep track of this stuff.

I've got a plan, not sure what it is but involves camping, hiking, and enjoying life.

Good morning all. I was able to schedule my first C19 shot yesterday. I have a Saturday morning appointment. I also should have a person coming over to look at a Weber Performa grill I am selling on Saturday afternoon.

Roundrocktom: That is one nice Recumbent bike you have in the bed of the truck. I just listed a Rans Fusion crank forward bike for sale. I hurt my back 4 years ago and Stoppard riding. The arteritis in my right foot has gotten worse during this time period. It was a nice decent bike but I could use the cash for a new grill. LOL

Rainy here, and we need it bad. Nice steady rain most of the night. No real noticable reaction to the Pfizer vaccine other than a sense that they put something in it to make you feel good right after getting it. Looks like a good weekend coming up. Warm and sunny, good for doing yard work or an oil change.

    Good morning all,
Shot day today. We shall see how it goes. Thanks for all of the experiences on the covid vaccine. It makes a person feel good to know that they are not guinea pigs. Nothing planed for today because we want to see how the reaction to the vaccine goes. Thanks all and have a healthy, wealthy, and wise day.

    Good morning all,

Whew what a day yesterday - ended up working out a gap=analysis for a 36 page PWS for a piece of Gov work. questions and analysis is due tomorrow. learned a long time ago to send it the day before the deadline and require proof of receipt so no hick-ups. My brain still hurts this morning - LOL not used to working with that much focus for 10 plus hours - out of brain shape...

Not much planed today, weather rolling in late afternoon so early long walk again today with the dogs while the weather is good.

Have a great day, Stay safe everyone, good luck to Lynn and her test.

A little something every chance we get.
Good morning porch people! Good luck to Lynn - it will be good to have a plant master around your house. Wife wanted me to do that, but too much Latin! Maybe this year.

It's another Heart Doctor and Lowe's run day. And unloading, that's it. Maybe start cleaning up the truck for a little get together Saturday in Houston!

Wife headed over to Bastrop to volunteer in the Covid site for that county - and then she gets her first vaccination shot in exchange.

    Be good!

Good morning all, a beautiful day here in N. California. We are heading out this morning for our second Pfizer vaccination. Nothing planned today or tomorrow just in case we have a reaction. None of the old farts I’ve talked to (and I know a lot of old farts) have had any significant reactions. I’ll let you all know tomorrow how it goes. Be safe and well.
