A little something every chance we get.
Is that a line to an OEM oil cooler? did it have a tow package? OEM cam with oil cooler. Dealer versions of tow package mostly did NOT!

The lines go to the housing that the upper radiator hose attaches to (thermostat housing?) and the other down below it goes to something just right of where the lower hose attaches to the engine.

It’s a sandwich plate for coolant to run through. It will both heat up your oil on cold starts and help prevent excessive oil temperatures but it’s not a true oil cooler even though Toyota probably calls it that. This is standard equipment for the factory tow package

Thanks. I've been a little surprised by the numbers of differences between my same year model trucks.

    Afternoon everyone,

Well we were supposed to get between 1-3 inches starting about now. It has been snowing since 0900 and already have about 5 inches (by my gage) and it is still coming down and bulk of the storm isn't even here yet. Guess what I will be doing in the morning early - PLOWING - already swept the stairs twice to keep up.

No complaining - we need it bad up here, it is just how far off the weather folks can be concerning our area.

HA! Write that down, I was accidently right for once. I have the "dealer" version, and you don't get that. I've seen it on ONE other truck, and I remembered right!

Good morning everyone!!! Breezy and 15 here this morning. It was a bit chilly taking the dogs out. Even they didn't hang around out there.

Lynn took her final exam to complete the PA Master Gardner's certification program last night. She finished the 100 question test in 15 minutes and even went back to review 3 questions she wanted to re-check. Then we went out to dinner at the college's student-run restaurant for a late dinner. Some wine, some bourbon and fantastic food. We are booked to go to the restaurant every week through mid-April now.

Quiet day for me - need to ship some packages...and that's about it. I'm sure something else will come up

    Oh, it's Friday!!

    Be safe and stay warm.

Thanks, Mike! She's positive she passed - needed 80% but was shooting for 100.

Eye is good. I have another check next Wednesday just to be sure.

Congrats! This thing has no SOP. It's pot luck. We got on our doctor's list in the beginning, only to find out the vaccine was being shipped to pharmacies. For what it's worth, we had good luck with a local Kroger pharmacy.

    Good TGIF Morning folks.

We had our names on the county site back in PA for the shot. After one month they finally notified me that I would be notified when the vaccine was available or if I have already gotten the shot, to fill in the date, manufacturer, and place I recieved the shot (I was thinking of putting down "in my arm".) So they can track vaccine distribution. In Florida, I filled out the request form on aThursday, got a call on Saturday and got my first shot on Sunday. They scheduled our second shot and after our 15 minute after shot wait we were on our way in about 30 minutes. We go Sunday for our second shot. Very efficient operation.
Have a safe day and be safe.
