Looking at 95SLE's sig about donating his pants to Goodwill, I realized that the last time I wore pants was on March 14, 2020. Went to a funeral.

Been drinking a lot of water today in preparation for getting my covid shot tomorrow. Several acquaintances in the medical field have told us to keep well hydrated before & after the shot to minimize side effects.

I keep about 50gal. of gas on hand in 5gal. jerry cans, with 10ml (2 teaspoons) PriG stabilizer per can. All my gas powered equipment gets stored with this treated gas in it, except the chain saw, which uses canned gas. Never had a problem. When we get a bunch of gas reward points, I stock up. I keep it in my "fuel dump".. a small metal outbuilding. When I'm down to 1 or 2 cans, I'm off to Kroger to fill 'em up.

Don't try this with plastic cans.. they breathe, and leave the moisture behind in your gas. A 55gal drum also does this. Jerry cans are sealed. Don't put more than 5gal. in one.. it needs the extra space for expansion. When the spout seal shows hairline cracks, replace it, so the can doesn't start sucking in moisture laden air.

    Good morning Susan.

Going to rebuild my pond filter today, easy work. I cleaned it real well before I stored it for the winter. I run a submergible filter during the winter.

Going to gather up hazardous waste today to take to the dump on Thursday. Cleaned out the small shed this past Sunday and there were a lot of open bags of fertilizer that need to be recycled properly. I have a lot of batteries, fluorescent light tubes and some electronics that need to go as well.

    Good morning everyone,

Col, great news and hope the green house gets resolved in your favor.

Rob, sorry to hear you had a negative reaction to the vaccine - makes me wonder if mine was real - nothing but an arm pain both times.

Stress test today so no COFFEE - will have drive back up the hill from the Springs in our next round of snow. It took me twice as long to dig out snow yesterday, still not the way I like it but running out of places to push the stuff. This is when I wish I had a front end loader.

    Be safe everyone

Get to work in the back yard today, after some blood work. Put down some mulch, unloaded the rest, finished the critter fence, and raked and mowed yesterday. Wifey emptied a bunch of greenhouse top shelf - will do the rest after the yard. Afraid I lost more than I thought of the Hibiscus on the uninsulated side - went downhill after being green when unwrapped. Oh well, have to grow more.

Maybe we get some storms tonight! Not much rain, but maybe storms....seems it's never the other way around. (He said before Hurricane season...)

Roller coaster weather down here - snow on our mountains out back, twice in the last week! Mixed with some 80º days - weird for this neck of the woods. First time I can remember mountain snow in March since we've been here - twenty years.

I took my show car to a car show one time and they gave all entrants a bag of goodies. In the bottom of the bag was a little oval, blue pill... and my immediate thought was that this gang throwing the car show must be partiers ;)

But my wife saw it and said, "Oh, that's just an Aleve... a pain killer... like an aspirin."

    Oh well...

    Morning all:

Good to hear about the tree removal being covered Mark, hopefully the structure is covered also.

    Just saw this!
It's some of the results of flat towing a 2021 Rubicon with around 10k on it at highway speeds behind an RV while in 4L and in 1st gear. DUH !!!!
They figure the engine was doing about 50,000 rpm if being towed @ 55 mph.

Well, I got one of those smartwatches yesterday. It keeps reminding me to walk around.
Made me think, it'd be neater if it said something like "how about another sandwich''?
