Latest pair are Signia Pure 312X. I prefer replacing batteries. My dad had the same model in rechargeable for and it worked fine for him.

I should probably mention that I don't much care if people can see them or not. I just want to hear better. And have the nifty features.

Yes, a lot of tinnitus is the ear & brain trying to make sounds for you. After a decade, I don't have but traces of the problem if I take them out. And I take them out like all day if working in the yard! Decades of Rock & Roll, race cars, and flying will kill your ears. I have a phone app for adjustment (just does volume) and they are bluetooth, so I COULD have my phone and TV pump directly into my ears. I found that I didn't like that, and the first time it happened in the truck, I was FFREAKED out.

Son uses "Equa Dose Hear" for his ear wax. Short of the Dr. Office, best thing he has found.

Good Morning Porch! Got up at 7, and it was 45* when I used the bathroom, "Hell no!" and went back to bed. Both times I woke up, son was in there getting ready for work, so I just slept in. I admit it! I'm a little sore today! I think I'll stay on the Putzy side of the projects today, because the work will still be there anyway!

    Have a great Friday Friday!

Guess I am in the 5%. Hearing aids did not change my tinnitus. Also had bad luck with Costco hearing aids. I have had two sets of them, with poor results. I finally bought several pairs of significantly lower cost aids and found some that work pretty well. The only complaint is that they are rechargeable and I occasionally forget to plug them in at night. Too many years of shooting without hearing protection.

Took advantage of the warm (but cloudy) weather here in northeast PA and cleaned out and washed the truck. Man, I love this thing!!

The wind is howling now - already lost power twice this afternoon. Could be a fun evening.

I have tinnitus pretty bad in both ears - as well as ultra and high frequency loss - but haven't really tried anything to help it. I'm lonely without the hiss and whistle. :D

Oh, and it's Front End Friday.

You might be in the 5%, because of the aids you've chosen. Audiologists can help. My dad tried to cheap his way out, he finally got real help

Well, there is the major putz for the day. Greenhouse shade cover installed and cleated down. Vents are automatically open/close, so I'm not going to tie those two grommets down.

Aaaaaaaaand, I cheated. I just dug where I knew the wire was, and yanked it out of the ground. Now, I know where to use the shovel when I fish in my new wire tomorrow. I had to shower and run to the Rx anyway.

Good morning all!! QUiet evening here last night - had our weekly Zoom Happy Hour with my sister and brother-in-law who live in Michigan. We've been doing them for about a year now and really enjoy the time.

I think I'll pull the field mower out today and knock down some weeds.

    Be safe out there!!

    Good Morning
After driving in thru snowshowers Thursday, we were rewarded with a fine day for felling and hauling trees Friday.

I'm making the crew pancakes for breakfast, then have to drive out around noon, back on shift Saturday night. Sorry for pic orientation, small size conversion seems to do that, and full size pic won't load with weak signal at cabin.
Have a great weekend everybody. :hattip:

    Good Morning everyone!

Today is shot number 2 for the C19 at 2:15 this afternoon.

Semi-busy day today. Up posting with a load of laundry in the washer. We are going to remove some landscape timbers in the back yard when I get home from dropping off old medical and financial paperwork to a shredding service. On the 4th Saturday of the month it is a free service and I have a big tub of papers to have shredded. When I get home from the C19 shot it will be time to fire up the grill for some NY Strip steaks and Asparagus. Somewhere in there I have to practice the guitar.

There seemed to be a lot of traffic in my area yesterday, just an unscientific observation.

    Good morning all,

No SNOW this morning - yea (I didn't really say that). Going to warm up (in the low 40's) for a few days then another storm is supposed to role in.

Got my Nuke Test scheduled for April 1st, 4 hours WTH. They told me to pack a lunch.

Going to run a few errands today so I get to drive my dirty truck. Colonel, haven't seem mine that clean in while but I am with you, still love the AG Pro.

Have a great and safe day

P.S. Rob, I may have missed this but what are you doing up in the mtns? I know cutting down trees and looks like you are cutting them but for what and in what manner? (cabin poles, beams, lumber?)

:sorry: I missed your question, Mike.

My buddy, the property owner, recently purchased a sawmill. Primary purpose/project is milling 8x8 sq dimensional logs to build a permanent cabin home with panaramic views; he retires in a year. We're trying to haul as many trees possible before breakup. Hauling on snow keeps the wood clean, which mills better and is easier on the equipment.

Thanks Rob, understand the process juts wasn't sure on the outcome. That is cool, when do you plan on starting the actual build, a year isn't that long considering the process and weather you have..

I would love to have a sawmill to work with, as I get closer to fully retiring I want to get back to making furniture. In the late 70's and 80's I built custom homes (in the Madison, WI area) and when the market went to crap I built furniture for a few interior designers out of Chicago. Worked on a Frank Lloyd Wright retrofit in the 80's, I was issued all the dinning table chairs and a few other chairs for the home. One of my past endeavors.

Rob, my neighbor flew into Alaska. Homesteaded. Chopped down trees, built a cabin and lived in Alaska for a year.

Thankfully a video was captured of Walter "Yukon" Yates a few years before he passed away.

So make sure those squirrels have a table and stools. <grin>

That is our neighborhood runway in the opening/closing scenes.
