It probably could have been much worse. I take it to the dealership for it's 1000 mile check up on Wednesday so I'll have their body shop look it over and give me an estimate. I don't think there is any underlying problems so I'll have them look it over good. Thanks.

A little something every chance we get.
You are absolutely right, and when they are done, you will never know. What can be done with surface defects on todays finishes is astounding compared to the old days.

    Evening all:

Sorry to see the truck damaged already Ken, at least it looks to be minor and should be an easy fix and be good as new. :(

Great day for fishing so I took the boat to lake Comanche for a little trout trolling. Only managed 3 (limit is 5). Smallest 16” , the largest fat one 20”. Rainbow for dinner tonight. Well, I can now report that global warming is an indisputable fact. In this neck of the woods, Summer traditionally starts on May Day, when my pool finally reaches 80F. This year, it got up to 81F, two days earlier than usual. My pool is the best way I have found to get limbered up, and man, I sure did that today!
I guess I should edit the above to say climate change, but what the hell, I’ll leave it the way I typed it ‘cause I know you guys with snow and rain don’t believe any of it anyway ...oh, and no, I didn’t wear my face mask in the pool. Wish you were here!

Good morning everyone!!! I think it's like the last day before that weekend thing. Whatever.

It rained all day yesterday - and for some reason we had a pair of ducks wandering around our front yard and driveway for most of the day. Then a hawk snagged a mourning dove and they left.

Worked on the Z3 a bit. Thought I had a burned fog light lens so I researched replacements - have to replace the unit, not the lens. Turned out just to be the X-Pel cover I put on the headlight and fog light lenses 20 years ago. So, I pulled it off and then ordered a new set to redo them all. Less than the cost of replacing a fog light.

Supposed to be cool and windy today so probably another indoor day.

    Enjoy and be safe!

    Morning all:

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mark!

Nice trout Ken, are you catching them using downriggers?
I have a similar 17' Starcraft setup, but don't get to use it since I don't go up to Lake Ontario anymore, one of those "I have it if I need it" deals now!
    Just thinking!
I have a lot of "I have it if I need it" that I will probably never need, don't we all !!

:hattip: Good Morning Cool Old Dudes and Susan

Rain has stopped, but ground is still wet, so it was a gentle soaker. We could use a few more overnight soakers like that.
    :fingerscrossed:

Today is ATV fluid change day: oil - engine & diffs, then radiator. Hit the grease zerks along the way. Quad will be my ride out to cabin next week. :)

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY 6!

The ducks were smart enough to know when to get outta Dodge. At least you got to enjoy them for a bit.

Glad you sorted out the Z3 to a cost effective resolution.

Who do you have your insurance with? I ask because every accident we've been in when the other guy was at fault, I just hand it to USAA and they handle everything with the other guys insurance. It's like having a lawyer on retainer for car accidents; and they know the business and exactly what the other insurance should do. Absolutely love USAA, they've always taken excellent care of us for 24 yrs now.

Kristi has the ability to ask me questions specifically about my "trigger" issues/topics. Then she gets upset with my rant and gives me the eye roll and "sorry I asked." Sometimes I think she knows me better than I know myself...other times I don't think she knows me at all. It'll be 37 yrs married this Oct 2nd ... might take another 37 to figure that one out completely...I'll send a msg from the hereafter.;)

Be safe, healthy, and most importantly happy everyone. :)

    Respect :oldglory:

    Good morning all,
Once again happy birthday @Devious6!! I will bet you are sweet 16 and have never been kissed. Grand kids are coming over today. They stay all next week. They need to get 3 negative Covid test each before going back to Ontario Canada. I think they can do the rapid test. When they get back home they have to quarantine for 14 days more. Not fun. It is good they don't have in person school. We find out this afternoon how good our WIFI is.I hope everyone stays heakthy, wealthy, and wise. Have a great day and weekend all.
    Russ
