    Morning all:
Looks like a good day to mow the grass! :(

Hear you Tom, have a couple projects to do also that are on hold due to the price of lumber.
If I would have had a way to keep it out of the weather, I could be sitting on a small fortune from when I had the wood cut with the portable mill, sure glad I built the garage when I did, I wouldn't even consider building that garage right now.

Hard pass Boats! How do we know they don't have that butt eating fungus! (Honestly, who researches this stuff?)

Been seeing a lot about eating them, they say they taste similar to shrimp and that anyone who has a shrimp allergy shouldn't eat them.
Expected to see some around here but it looks like we are out of their core area, haven't seen a single one.

They are "related" to shrimp, according to the news! I'm still passing.....

I hear you - Used to be couldn't decide what did more damage to the yard... the moles or Annie digging trenches looking for them. She used to be pretty good at it, too. She got one about a month ago. She's gotten much smarter - she waits on them now. How does the saying go: work smarter, not harder. Zoie is worthless when it comes to hunting

Going to order one tomorrow - yard is completely destroyed by those *($&&*($#@(#*$!!! Every other step "squish", "squish", "squish" :annoyed:

Moles must have eaten all the larve. Haven't seen a single one this year. Also haven't seen any japanese beetles - so maybe the moles are doing me a favor - NAAAA

    Have a super evening

    Morning.
    Poor racing weekend.
Had a tire /vib problem we couldn’t cure without new tires.
Maple explosion caused problems the whole weekend.

Really hot and humid so not the best time.
New tires coming for next week.
    Sooo
Pressure wash the drive to prep for sealing. Going to be real real hot so that will be attacked at 8am.
Back in the house for the day after that.

Raising the doors worked as expected. Wife wants me to look at a plastic shed as a replacement. That is another project for another day. HINT** I need to rebuild the foundation if we replace the shed. The work did drain me more than I expected. Today it is replace the filters in the pond filter. Oh Yea!

    I will pass too.

    Good Morning Folks.
Deb and I were at the Wedding celebration yesterday and it was outdoors. Hot couldn't describe it. The eating was in the barn (redone for holding events) and it was even hotter. 20210605_152758.jpg 20210605_172340.jpg 20210605_185633.jpg
But all in all it was a nice day. Today is more kitchen demo day. Removing the breakfast bar. During the week I have to patch the walls where the pantry was.
Have a great day folks and be safe.

    Another Hot-Humid Day in Texas.

Above 80F/80% too hot for my Golden Retriever to go walking.

I still go bike riding, but this week will be in the 90s and humid, so need to try to keep my heart rate under 160. It's a little toasty!

    Morning all:
Pollen has been bad here also, when we went to the lake it was covered with it, mowed yesterday and last night the nose started running like a faucet for awhile!
The answering machine had a message yesterday, if this is Carl press 5, if it isn't press 3, I think that's the second time I got that message. Don't know what it's about but it got deleted, I'm sure it was no one I needed to talk to.

:pccoffee: Good Sunday Morning Porch Pals!
Around here, it's been Cottonwood month - it's like a snow storm, but you can't get a picture of it except covering the pool.
Sorry about the yard Susan. Maybe you can just flood it! :redxfall::sorry:
Old folk problems - my trusty blood pressure monitor lost display digits last night, so it's off to get a new one. After that, who knows?
