    Good Morning Folks.

I am not having that problem Dave. I hope you didn't pick up a virus . Is your virus protection up to date? I have no other thoughts. Maybe someone else out there can shed more light. Good luck with finding the problem Dave.

Another hot day with storms heading in later on today. Hope everyone stays safe and has a good day.

Today is low hanging fruit day. Basically cleaning the gutters on the garage. Rain later on today and high of 88. Time to get the outside work done early. Cicadas are crazy loud in Bowie too. Had one commit suicide on Sunday, landed on the hot griddle.

Took care of all the trimming and weeding in the front of the house plus cleaned the gutter over the garage. I assisted my wife. ;) She did the real work.

Today it is weeding the rear vegetable garden, planting a second row of carrots and fertilizing the vegetable plants plus fertilizing the knock out roses. Then clean up the work bench area in the garage with a clean up of a decent meat cleaver for a friend. Also cooking a pork butt in the WSF.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Gal! Getting back to "normal" with Mr. Sun and Mrs. Hot&Humid around here. Got a dentist cleaning, a hair cut, buy some grass :rasta: man, maybe some fishies, and a Lowe's stop. Give me some work to do before Saturday!

Oddly, Ken. Spent all day reading and hearing about the internet fail without an issue, and right before dinner, every connection except TW went to crap! All back in 15 minutes.

    Afternoon all:
:spending: Got new tires on the Tacoma and got it inspected this morning, sure glad that tires didn't double or triple in price!
Only 23,000 mi. on the original tires, maybe would have gone a little over30k, but would have put a new set on before winter anyway.

Seems like you sure have some kind of issue Kurt...Maybe it has something to do with the eclipse coming tomorrow morning????? or maybe all the UFO activity????? Just kidding. Hope you get it figured out. Would hate to not have TW to view. Good luck.

What kind of shoes (if you don't mind me asking) did the Tacoma get Carl? I don't need any yet, but like to keep brands in mind for when needed.

    Have a good one folks.

Busy morning out there. After 20 years of caliche driveway (the real reason I don't wash my vehicles) finally opted for a concrete driveway. The old wooden deck was pretty well trashed by the dogs trying to get critters hiding under it. Had a bunch of skunks move in one year (dawn soap, bucket of water, and one cap of peroxide) was the dog's weekly bath. Time to tip out the rotted wood, and just have a 20' x 20' slab poured.

I did get the front and back mowed yesterday, so glad to get it done. The lawn is still saturated, workers this morning parked along the 200' long driveway which was promptly framed for concrete to be poured. I'm waiting for the guy in the Civic to realize there is a soggy ditch between him and the road. Where did I leave that tow strap? Normally a good way to make beer money, but I just don't want him tearing my lawn to get off it. Gran Torino is a great movie. Don't mess with an old guy's lawn (the first time it has been this green in years).

This was a few years ago, one of the new delivery drivers decided to turn around by backing up onto the lawn. Lots of rain, he got stuck. 26,000-pound vehicle. I told the driver it was a good thing he didn't fall into the septic tank. He never had heard of one! Happened to FedEx driver.

Look what I just found!!! :annoyed:

Put Hankook dynapro AT2's on it Ken, don't know how good they are, but also put them on the Chevy truck this winter and they seemed to be decent in the snow. Was also looking at the Continental TerrainContact HT which had pretty decent reviews.

    OK, on to plan B!
Looks like the bear already found a bottle with Pine sol in it, I think he was p****d because he shredded the small tree I had it hanging in, at least the drain pipe is still straight!

Thanks on the tire info Carl, A friend of mine had them on his full size Chevy pick up and had nothing but good to say about them.

By the looks of the jar, you had one p****d off bear Carl. Maybe he was saying okay, you won and thats why your drain pipe is still straight

I hope the tire manufactures do not read this forum. LOL Nice choice in tires Carl. I need to start to look for tires on my 2WD Tacoma.

    Good Morning Folks.
Hot and humid yesterday. Was supposed to have a storm but instead got about 20 minutes of rain and a few hours later we had lightning and thunder but no rain .
Have a good day folks and be safe out there.

We did some weeding and fertilized the vegetable, flowers and rose plants. Also planted another row of carrots in the garden. Back in the house by 10:15 and did not want to work outside after that. Smoked a pork butt and had a small problem with the fire in the burn pot. Learning a new grill does take some time. Pork butt was not finished till after 7pm so it will be pulled pork for dinner tonight.20210609_164442.jpg

Good morning everyone!!! We had some nice, hot weather the last few days. A little cooler here today - not supposed to get above 70.

An old friend who I haven't seen in person since 1984 spent two days with us. Colin and I were Second Lieutenants in the same section of the Army's Field Artillery Officers Basic Course at Fort Sill, OK in 1978. Colin was a Marine, I was Army. We both ended up back at Fort Sill as instructors in the Field Artillery School 4 years later. As fate would have it, Lynn and I lived across the street from Colin's sister in the early '90s while I was assigned to 7th Infantry Division (Light) at Fort Ord, CA. We caught up on our life's experiences, shot some WWII vintage rifles, he introduced me to geocaching, drank some beer and bourbon and laughed...a lot.

Back to reality yesterday when he left - cut grass and (finally) washed the Tacoma after our trip to Kentucky where, apparently, I killed a large percentage of the cicada population with the front end of the truck. Oh, and I did manage to spend some time in the pool, too.

    Happy Friday!
