Great pictures Kurt and looks like a fun time. MAF is more than likely coated with dust (hopefully that's all it is). Your Tacoma sure does need a bath...
    Have a good one Sir.

    Afternoon all:
Sounds like a good day Mike!

Found some ambition today and did a major string trimming around the property, actually a decent day to do it, not too hot and humid.

 Evening folks. Hottest day so far, I'm pretty sure. "Feels like" is currently 104*! That's hot enough.

    Yup, It was dirty!

The MAF was not happy. It used to be black....what got sprayed off is on the cloth
    20210613_114453.jpg
    20210613_114701.jpg
That cleared the code. Cleaned and oiled the filter and reversed the process....

Off to the power wash, then to the drive through wash and gas.
    20210613_151714.jpg

Not detailed, but clean enough for city streets. Interesting thing in all of that dust - I filled up before and after the ride. So, like 4 hours of 30 mph, and it averaged 20.5 mpg! Only 17.5 on the highways coming and going.

:taco: Oh yeah - I mentioned a Larry Shield. I finally got in the pool and did that. We have a Polaris cleaner - his name is Larry. He insists on climbing the side of the ladder steps, and wedging his wheels in there. We made a shield out of lattice that has lasted a long time, but he still would stick himself on it. And he broke the lattice.

    20210613_155627.jpg

So, I have some replacement material to try. It's the stuff that I used for the bottom of the vine fence out front. Which isn't what I bought it for in the first place, but let's not go into that. I have lots of things that get used for not what I bought them for!

    20210613_160141.jpg

So, some new tie wraps to keep it in place, and there we go. We will see what Larry does this year to thwart out efforts. Oh, naturally, now that it's hot and you want to get in the pool, wife has drained it a foot for chemical adjustments. :annoyed:

Good morning everyone! I'm planning on cutting the grass today - still waiting for the Zero Turn to come back with its new (correct) blades so I'll be doing the slow Garden Tractor ride.

    Enjoy the day!!

    Mornin
    Carol’s birthday coming up.
    She wanted this.
    95E48843-D0BC-46B4-993C-738136AE1C1E.jpg

So once the detail on the jeep is finished I’ll light sand this thing and throw some navy blue on it.

Anything that makes me get off the rider and move it to mow i don’t like.
As you can see, I don’t like it quite often. Lol..
It’s the only thing she asked for.
I was worried I couldn’t move it myself easily but once we got there and looked at it I picked it up myself and Didn’t have any problem.
So it came home in the trailer….

Good morning all. Lots of great pics to view this morning while I am drinking my coffee. :pccoffee:

Replacement cabinets are installed and the zero turn mower lift is assembled. Today is the start of a major garage clean, if the item is no longer needed it will be sold, given away or trashed.. I hope to have this mini project done by Wednesday. I have stuff from two care ago that just needs to go away. ;)

Had a blast with the group for Saturday's drive.

BlackVue software is broken so I can not flip videos right side up. Records fine but playback upside down as my camera is to the right of my mirror.

It was a good shake-down ride, discovered I needed a longer USB cable (sitting on my desk at home) to reach DMM to the radio jack. We got the Gaia map running, but the phone overheated (Charging, GPS, podcast running).

Need tailgate seals for the bed, some dust got in but not as bad as I thought. Still need to run a 12V fridge outlet back there, and find a solar panel for the top of the cap. I have a 30" x 48" spot between those rails, but most solar is more like 20" x 60" which would fit but need be mounted on a rack (wind drag) but handy for off-grid camping. 195W panel with 100Ah Lithium should be fine.

My Dometic DZ75 lasted 8 hours on the Jackery 250. I ran freeze and fridge, so average 30W per hour at was 99F out there, so good test.

It's a bit dusty! We are on well water (spot city) so ran it through a car wash as it heads over to Paintless Dent Repair this morning.

:pccoffee: Good Morning everyone! Back to "normal". Going to go do the local oil change service for the first time (in a while) since new management. Since I'm not going back to the dealer anymore, going to give these guys a chance to make a customer out of me. Then, dig out that bush I guess....

Not bad at all. Like the birthday present too - my wife is also Carol. I can hear her saying it would be nice if you'd sit in the chair with me instead of polishing everything all the time!

Are usually do this in the spring. Just no time this year with all the stuff going on with my retirement. So many things to do that I’ve been putting off for years.

Excessive Heat Watch has been issued for the Valley, foothills & Delta Thu - Sat. Highs will range from 100°-113°.

The above is the weather forecast for the California Central Valley which is where I live. We’ve decided to head up to the cool Sierra mountains tomorrow for a few days to escape the heat. Bringing a fishing rod and a bottle of Eagle Rare (Marks post with the pic of Eagle Rare guided me to which bourbon to bring). Fishing rod and whiskey, it’s all I need. Be back in a few days. Stay cool all and be safe.
