Good morning everyone!! I hope you had a quiet night and are ready to head home, Ken!!

Much warmer this morning - 43. At least it's going to start to warm up again over the next few days.

Cut the grass around the farmhouse and ponds yesterday and pulled the final nails from the mower garage so it's ready for the new siding panels. Then I spent a ew hours soaking up sun by the pool.

The greenhouse is almost finished on the outside - needs a few trim pieces and the door hung. Lynn and I need to paint the rafter tails white and then work on the inside. We put 4 double hung windows in the front but bought clear polycarbonate sheets for the rest of the windows - most of them still have the protective plastic sheeting on them that will be pulled off. Lynn loves the new look.

    Good Morning Folks
Thanks Mark. I did get some sleep last night with them only waking me up,once. I hope they spring me today but they might want to keep me one more night depending on how my walking goes.
The green house is really coming along. Looks very nice.

That is going to be a beautiful greenhouse, Mark. Well worth the rebuild effort indeed. Put up a sign, and charge admission!

You'll know if it's time to go Ken. Remember, only one set of hands to help you out at home. It's frustrating for a few days when it's so limiting. Are you getting an ice-box? - pumps cold water to a wrap on the leg for swelling.

:pccoffee: Oops - Good Morning Porch People! Is it Friday?

No icebox Kurt just bags of ice. Thank goodness for ice makers:thumbsup:
The missus is ready and waiting to play nurse so I should be in good hands. Thank you sir.

I did the same last year when we move a river of rock, blue river rock arranged to look like a stream feeding into the pond. Gave up on the bulk wash and did each one by hand. Actually quicker and all the dirt, for the most part, was removed from the rock.

Carl: I hope you liked the taste. Grass fed beef is considerably more expensive. I like it myself but the cost is high.

In my case to have a fresh look in the new location.

    Ken: Get well quickly.

Today is off to Costco to have the hearing aids adjusted. Still plugging away in the garage. I have a habit of making a simple project more complex.

Ought to check on the box. Probably 100% covered, and she only has to load it once, and lasts a lot longer! Good luck, sir!

You win the "WTF" contest. And, yes, the end of the wheelbarrow I pulled them one by one, and the rest in the wagon will be one by one under a sprinkler!

    Mark, nice greenhouse.

Ken, I used Elasto Gel, Hot/Cold Wrap, 9 X 24, Knee Wrap (about $36) blue things on the end of the bed.

Bonus photo for Susan, binge-watching "Dark" (german Netflix, great show best viewed in German) with my two friends. Odd trivia lived in Germany in the early '60s, late 80s and been back since. The time period is dead-on as the show flips from 1953, 1986, 2019. (not much changed from '53 to '63, just felt the same as I was a kid)

Do not cross your ankles; a nurse friend spotted this photo and chastised me. It was good I was wearing Teds, but crossing my ankle may have caused a clot to form. Oops. December 2019 had meniscus repairs, and arthritis spurs removed. Doc afterward said, "ya, we should have replaced both of them!" Yes, I had both done simultaneously as I figured I might as well go through PT just once.

I've had hyaluronic acid (gel) injections done on both since then. It helps with walking, but not when walking but not a cure-all. Just holding out as long as I can.

    Afternoon all:
Geez, just talked to my fishing buddy Jim's dad. Jim's Tundra got totaled by a woman driver with a suspended lic., no ins., and a borrowed car, his dad fell off a stepladder and split his scalp wide open and needed staples, his mother in law had a bloodshot eye and found out it was caused by a ruptured blood vessel, his daughters car got sideswiped, and he just found out he didn't get drawn for a Wyoming hunting lic. that has an 85% success rate for non residents, all occurring within a week!
Seems like when things go to crap it's one thing after another, at least there were no major injuries that were a result of the mishaps.

Tell him to go buy a lotto ticket, good luck is just around the corner.

Glad to hear no one seriously injured. When I was doing PT we had a 30-year old in a wheelchair working and learning how to transfer himself. Fell off a ladder putting up Christmas Tree Lights. As much as I want an RTT, I know better than use a ladder!

Everyone: GET A DASHCAM! Too many idiots on the road. I remember being shocked at someone who treated red light as a stop sign (1971). 2021 people seem to fly down the road at 60 mph ignoring red lights. Not good.

That's why I have a front and rear facing cam in LBR. May not make great trail video, but the street is why they are there. And another reason I have overkill bumpers!

You should ride around with me for a day as I drive my semi truck in Detroit every day, you'd be amazed at what you saw. The streets of Detroit are compete anarchy and traffic laws are merely suggestions that are widely ignored. All the main roads are nothing but burn out and donut marks from one end to the other. You surely don't want to be driving there at night. Just last week I was driving my big rig down the road and a newer car was upside down and on the roof, I could have clipped it and spun it like a top, lol. Not a person or another car around, probably stolen and then wrecked and abandoned. Happens all the time. I actually wish my company would install dash cams. I got brake checked hard twice last week and I was running really heavy, the idiot is lucky I didn't kill him. My truck is plated at 120k and I'm often at that.

I feel for you Greg, used to love to just drive around and go here and there years ago, lately I don't want to go anywhere.
As a big rig driver you are probably seeing what I'm seeing X 100, and it's not getting any better!

Good after noon all and Susan,
Welcome Greg. I drove for 42 years all over Mi and the mid west. Lucky to be home every night except the UP runs. Vary blessed but I have driven my last big rig mile. I understand the headaches you deal with every day. I want you to be safe and make it home when your done. That is a successful trip. Just like Ken who I hope has made it home from the hospital. I am sure his missus will provide everything he needs or thinks he needs. LOL Just keep icing and doing PT and you will be all right. You will be moving like you were 20 before you know it. Have a great Fathers Day and Susan to. Be safe, healthy, wealthy, and wise.
