A little something every chance we get.
Fantastic... grew up there. Still have some friends roaming around. Know exactly where the Gibson Plant (Save the Stack) is. Worked for several years in the music biz at the Sound Factory/Proco Sound. Nicer now than when I left in the 80's, and I miss it now and then. Sister is in Schoolcraft, so we like to get up there if we can.

Good Saturday to all and Susan,
Welcome Guiles and Jim. Sit down and share a few.

Congrats to Dwayne on the new grandbaby. How many is that for you? I have 11 all spread out around from Toronto to Cincinnati to Grand Rapids. My oldest Grand son is going to play baseball at Pitt this next year. He starts there in August.

Ken, glad you are home. Like we all said now comes the hard part. How is the pain doing?

Everyone stay safe and healthy, Russ

I have a camera in my Tacoma. Installed it when I was driving my son to and from high school. The crazies on the DC Beltway are always present.

Welcome to the thread. My 09 Tacoma was XM ready so I bought a Pioneer XM receiver and hooked it up to a MIFi XM radio. Eventually replaced the HU with a pioneer and installed a back up camera. I listen to Sirius XM whenever I drive the Tacoma.

    Welcome to the threat.

I started playing the guitar last October after a 50 year layoff. Playing is a lot harder than I remember it to be. LOL

Going to try and get the garage finished today.

A new guitar would probably make it easier. LOL . I don’t play, but do the woodworking part of the process, it’s very rewarding.

    We got "tease rain" yesterday.

Some fun thunder rolling and some really big drops, but just enough to wet the sidewalk and make the windshield dirty. We went out on our covered porch to enjoy the scent and listen to the angry Gods grumbling, praying it would get more serious, but no bueno. Half hour later all that was left was the scent.

If any of you guys in the east have too much rain, send some out this way please.

My water bill is going to be horrendous - we are headed for our 6th or 7th day over 112º. I've been trying to keep the non-cactus green things alive by watering three times a day - may have to go to four. Serious drought down in the southwest and not getting any better this year than last. Our mutts won't go outside except to pee! They have mastered the art of slightly poking open the dog door, sniffing - and heading back to their chosen tiles under an AC vent.

The owner of the machine shop where I "part--time" went to shoot clays yesterday and came in saying it was 100º at 7:00 AM when they walked in the gate.

I quickly discovered that my 66 year old Epiphone needed some work. I went out and bought a Taylor AD27e and is is a nice entry level guitar. I eventually took my Epiphone Caballaro to a Luthier and had it repaired. Sounds great after 66 years of improper storage. Now I have 2 guitars. ;)

We are home from the mountains. Had a great relaxing time away from the 110 degree heat here in the valley. Caught a few trout but the bite was slow. Only gonna be 100 here today (but no humidity). Going to kick back and read and watch movies today and go out for dinner.
Welcome back to the porch Ken!!! Sounds like the surgery went well. Now the tough part - rehab. At least people tell me that’s the tough part. Friends have told me that if you put 100% into the rehab and exercises it all went faster and recovery was excellent.
Speaking of mountains I haven’t seen MtnAltitude post for awhile. Maybe he has and I missed it. I hope all is well with him
and he comes back up here on the porch.

    Afternoon all:
Welcome to the new porch dwellers, first fill up the cooler and then find a place for your chair.

Glad to hear you are at home Ken, sounds like you have a good caretaker with nurse Debbie!

Good morning everyone. Went over to a friends house yesterday for dinner - nice to finally be able to get out a bit with friends. Balloon flight for this morning is cancelled - for and still have some residual lightening around. We have another flight schedule for this evening - hopefully we'll get that one in.

    Happy Fathers Day!!
