TY for the info. Th Costco pavilion looks sturdy enough to support one or two fans mounted up high.

Therapy is a bitz but it works. The plan needs to be do the therapy every day not just at the therapy sessions.

We had tornado warnings yesterday and the news service was telling the truth. Lots of rain and high winds. We lost power from3:30 pm till almost 9:00. Will be doing a lot of yard cleanup today. Son was called into work around 4:30 pm and worked till 10:00. He was cleaning tree limbs off of the streets and cutting them up. Chipper truck will pick up and chip today.

This weekend we are off to West Virginia. On Sunday it will be a ride on the Cass Railroad.

Have a fun and safe 4th of July veryone.

Good Morning Folks. Hope everyone has a good, safe weekend. Weather here is supposed to bet nice by Sunday which will give us at least 2 nice days.
Not looking forward to therapy however I have been doing stretch and movement exercises at home. Bending the knee is good(I lied, hurts like heck ) but needs to be done.
Wishing you all a Happy Independence Day and be safe.

:pccoffee: Good Morning and Happy Friday Porch Pals & Gal! :oldglory:

Still deciding whether I mow first and then go to the store, or vice versa. I'm still leaning to vice versa - because then I can just mow in swim trunks and jump in the pool when I'm done, and not worry about going anywhere. And it will be realllllllly hot by then. Going to get a bunch of stufff to grill and smoke for the weekend. And beverages.

    1. It showed up in TW for sale on Fathers Day, after I got my gate lock gift.
    2. I've been looking at one for a long time, and this was almost half price (they don't go bad)
    3. I have a heavy trouble bag, and that Ez-Up in the pictures with 4 40 lb. bags of sand that I always have to load and unload to get out of the way, and all that can stay stowed now. The Ez-Up and sand bags fit in the narrow drawer percectly.
    4. Most of what I carry is bags of stuff from Lowe's, that can easily ride on top for the 20 mile trip. Odd, big stuff is a once a year thing, and that can just get tied down.
    5. A bonus I discovered yesterday on errands, is that 99 lb. of Decked spread nicely in back REALLY settles the truck down, suspension wise. With my new stuff, should be even better!

Jeezuz... the only rain we get is just enough to dirty the clean windshield. Irrigation water is scheduled to be shut off this month.

But the temps have gone down some and we aren't hitting 100+ like we were. That's a good thing.

Tacoma is back from the dent shop, dent-free! My neighbor mainly does high-end vehicles, Paintless Dent Repair in his shop and works with another shop when major metal work (roof) is replaced.

It was funny to see the Tacoma parked next to a Porche, Lexus, and what I thought was an odd Chrysler (oops, Bentley). Not the cheapest guy around but not a ripple to be found. Whew, feels good to have a car again!

Have a safe and happy fourth of July. Looks like we will have lots of rain, but could use it. I'm having fun keeping new sod alive in this heat while on well water (2 GPM max, so only one soaker hose at a time).

Funny, Little Big Red came from a store in North Austin, 360 Exotics. In with multiple McLaren's, Porsche, Ferrari, Rolls, a couple Skylines, Vettes, a lone red Tacoma!

    Good morning everyone!!

It's been raining steadily since about 3 AM so I slept in until 5 hoping it would stop before I walked the dogs. Still raining at 5 so out they went. We're supposed to have rain this Am and thunderstorms this afternoon. No real break until Monday.

No caulking or painting today, I guess. I'll work on taking apart the huge cedar closet my father in law built in the stable.

Yesterday, I worked in Lynn's greenhouse tightening up the polycarbonate windows and then ran the electrical line for a switch and hung the chandelier a friend gave her for the upper front window. I left the protective plastic sheet on the outside of the windows until we get done caulking and painting but it came out pretty good. I bought some stuff to repair the cracks in the concrete. Pretty amazing what the weight of a 30 foot cedar will do when it hits a building. I'm amazed that it didn't crush it.

Good morning folks, got up at my normal work day time, except the coffee wasn’t pre-made. It’s funny how old people don’t sleep in, COFFEE is done. Now to start the peeing cycle, not fair.

    Morning all.
Went from 102 deg Swamp Azz weather the other day to monsoon rain and now it's in the low 50's.
Time to go grocery shopping before the local nit-wits wake up.
