I just came in from an Easter vigil service. Stopped off at Safeway and picked up a treat for the wife and son.

Makes me miss the little grand kids this year.....our youngest is here from college but has to work Sunday:(...so we'll stay here with him, have an early Easter breakfast and ship him off. The little ones and their folks are down in Minneapolis.

    Happy Easter, everyone!!

Tom - Lynn was a reader at Easter Vigil last evening. Somehow, from year to year, I forget how long that mass is. We had our son and grandson with us and I was amazed at how well our grandson behaved.

Going to be working on that wall today - and watching the end of The Master's. And, tomorrow is another day off!!

Happy Easter everyone. It has been a beautiful Easter Weekend! Had our traditional Easter get together last evening with family. We get together in reserved room and have buffet, then to someone's home for desert. Always a great time.

evening all: just got done knocking down a bunch of briars with the weedwacker, using a tri-arc blade. can't believe how windy its been for the past few weeks. plus the streams around here are really low for this time of the year.

I played golf this morning - what an experience with the wind.

After I got home, Lynn and I finished up the arbor project - had to get a masonry blade for the saw to cut some cap pieces.

Last year before we put the arbor in.

Setting the arbor in place and ready to pour the concrete.

Last fall we put a bluestone step in the center and brought in some dirt to let it settle. This was taken last Friday before we started the wall.

Almost-completed. Put in 2 Forsythias and moved an Azelia away from the corner of the house into the planter we made so it would get more sun. Put down mulch. Next week Lynn will finish putting in plants and flowers and we'll put down grass seed to fill in up to the step on each side.

One last picture. I need some Motrin and a beer!
