Good morning, everyone!! Winds aloft were too fast so last night's hot air balloon flight was cancelled. We've got flights on tap for tonight as well as Monday and Tuesday evenings. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.

No big plans for today. Sounds like the pool may be in my future.

    Be safe out there!!

The concert was a blast. We were parked in one of the parking lots furthest from the venue. My feet were tired when we got home a little past 12:00 midnight. I would and will go see Jimmy Buffet again.

Love the pics of a Tacoma earning it's keep.

Resting up today after a wonderful birthday weekend. Going to start to pack for our Canadian Vacation.

Gosh tom, out past MIDNIGHT! Whatever will we do with you? And, yes, my Taco has to work like a truck.

I see @Simon's Mom again - was your fly trapping successful? Or are your flies too tough to tame?

I wonder if the winds we have all day decide to go North at night to bug you Mark?

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Folks! Looks like it will be hot enough to break rocks in the hot sun, so to speak. Start on the grill spot. Not so much that level is a problem, but I roll them out into the grass in front, then it's really kind of crooked, and there is really only grass there in the summer - otherwise I have worn it down. And those red pavers get hot on the feet, so, I'm going to walk on the cobblestones!

I have no real intention of finishing in one day; the end on the pool deck will all have to be cut to fit. Stay tuned.

Yes my fly trapping was successful! No more bites!!
Now I've been busy with all the local Amish bakeries near me. I am addicted to their peanut butter. Yes I could make my own but theirs taste sooooo good. I avoid all the calorie pillows. They do make the best pastries but *ahem* you know that old saying... A minute on the lips.... Lololol

Been doing some SxS with my friend in NH. I don't have one so the next best is a friend with one. He even lets me drive! Great trails in Great North Woods.

Your project looks amazing! Stay cool from Simon and I! Enjoy your Sunday everyone.

Good morning everyone!! We had a beautiful night for a hot air balloon flight last night. Have another scheduled for tonight - hope the weather cooperates. Tonight's flight is a family where the father/grandfather has terminal cancer and the son is trying to fill his father's remaining time with adventures and family experiences. Had to cancel out on Saturday and moved them to Monday. Really want to get this one in.

The truck needs to be washed but I think I'll wait until tomorrow morning just in case tonight's flight is a go. Chasing down dusty back roads has Odie covered in dust at this point.

    Be safe out there!!

Good Morning everyone. Time to clean the pond filters today. A pond cleaning service comes tomorrow for a deep clean and work up an estimate to rebuild the pond.

We need to get Molecular Covid 19 tests this morning, a prerequisite to enter Canada. I also have a foot injection scheduled in the afternoon. We are also going to start to pack for our Canadian vacation. Going to be a busy day.

Not at all. Arthur has my foot big time. I get a foot injection before I go on vacation. The injection usually lasts 2 months for the pain. It is a cocktail part is fast acting the other is slow release. I feel like I can sprint a quarter mile right after the injection.

    Good afternoon porchies and Susan,

Bachelor time this week. Wife left for Canada to see our son in NewMarket On. It is about a 6 hour drive from West Mi. She got her Molecular test done on Saturday and the results were neg. Allis good. We filled out the ARRIVECAN app and had to take pics of passport and vaccination card. What a mess just to cross a border. We also had to have a quarantine plan if a test proves positive. Oh well such is government. We will see if I can take care of myself and our German Shepherd Maze. Time will tell. Well all be safe and healthy Have a great Day

Tom I hope you get the right rapid covid test. CBSA told my wife when she crossed that there are 15 different tests and you need to have the right one done with the test results . All of the paper work has to be on 1 paper. CBSA brought her inside and she started crying. Maybe that worked. They let her continue. So safe travels Tom and I hope this helps you. There is also labor problems at the the border. The CBSA workers might strike. Stay safe and be glad we are in the good old USA. Go RED, WHITE, and BLUE!

OK, got the trash burned this morning , inside of the Tacoma windshield cleaned, stopped at the hardware store for a 3/4"X3' piece of round stock, trimmed around the garage, and got the hedges trimmed and cleaned up, that's a good day for me!!!

Got er done, hope it is of some help!
There are several ways to make one of these, of course I had to make the super duper deluxe version!

Love it Carl! Why mess with half a$$ed?

My math was off, so I need a couple more red pavers to cut. Got the grass tilled and out of there. Trip to Lowe's tomorrow, and cut to finish Wednesday I guess. Why rush? It's hot out here. Me and Mike's are going to cool off in the pool.

Good morning everyone! Balloon flight was weathered out last evening - thunderstorms all around us but no rain for us. Another one scheduled for tonight but thunderstorms are possible again.

Taking the truck in to have the right front brake squeal fixed...that was supposed to have been fixed the last time it was in. We'll see how that goes.

    Stay safe!
