    Nice

    X2

    Today is a sort of busy one. Pick some veggies in the garden then taking the surplus over to the food bank. Two hour music lesson at 09:30. Take some grass seed over to my sisters for my nephew to pick up. Then back home to cook some dinner. Tonight it is tomahawk pork chops, potatoes and green beans.

    It's like taking an airplane to an aircraft mechanic to get the 100 hour flight cert. There are people out there licensed to do repairs and inspections. Balloons require an annual inspection.

    OK - so I am going back to work for a couple of months...background checks, fitness for duty, computer based training, etc.
    I will finally get to finish that last project that I couldn't complete when I retired back in June 2019. No big deal, it's not like I was going to travel this Fall anyway...and now I can pay for a few more truck mods...

    Morning all:
    Happy anniversary Mike!

    Taking a vacation and going back to work for a few months to get away from the pension projects Bob, good luck completing that last project!

    Looks like they are calling for severe thunderstorms in the NE tonight, and possibly more flash flooding in some areas. :(

    Awesome, Mike!! Congratulations and Happy Anniversary!!!

    With the 20th Anniversary of 9/11 approaching, I was interviewed recently by WVIA, or local PBS station about my experiences in the Pentagon that day. The video is on their FB page so I'm not sure if you'll be able to view it without a FB account - here is a link if you are interested. No politics involved - please keep it that way. Let me know if you can view it. I'll delete the post if you can't.

    Good morning everyone!! More rain here last evening - looks like we have a stretch of dry days ahead, though.

    Back in the stable today to install a sink base and sink and get the water turned back on there. I also have 2 light fixtures to install. Making progress.

    Stay safe!

    Impressive. Americans tend to forget about the Pentagon and Pennsylvania as part of the 911 attack. My parents next door neighbor, an FBI Agent, assisted with the Pennsylvania investigation.

    Our power is supposed to be turned off today from8am to 5pm. Going to be an interesting day.

    :pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals and Gals! Got to spend a few minutes catching up on your video Mark - apparently you are a star! Spent yesterday taking Little Big Red to a friends down by San Antonio, because he has a lift! And this made me REAL glad I didn't attempt this by myself in the driveway. It WASN"T that simple, and we had to manipulate lift and jack heights many, many times. I'm too old for this stuff!

    20210908_095738.jpg

    Well, my friend did all the work, but my ankles and feet are still sore from standing on them and being the gopher all day! Exciting (to me anyway) results from yesterdays rear end Botox on LBR. Can't wait for shocks to finally come in.....

    We put on this stuff;
    [IMG]
    [IMG]

    Ride is good, lacking the shocks. No more lean to the back (yay!). More in a bit.

    All right, all my pics in one place. And the world is a results oriented place, right? And the too many details will, of course, eventually hit my digest. One thing, this multi-leaf AAL isn't like sticking one in there, and I was REAL glad to be at my friend Scott's with the lift. We adjusted the lift and jack heights MANY, many times. And clamps work.

    So, here's the stuff installed.

    Before (1" spacer block) & after (2.25" AAL, 2.5* shim, U-Bolt Flip);

    Before & After @ Home;

    And I "spray cleaned" a lot when we got done.....

    20210908_160641_LI.jpg

    And that's the scoop!
