A little something every chance we get.
Got you doubled up on temps this morning - 50*! Going to put little covers I bought for the fruit trees on tonight, as we will be supposedly in the low 40s*. We have exactly 3 fruits on each tree! Containers are too big for the greenhouse, so we'll see how it goes. SUPPOSEDLY, covers will work in our area. If we have another week like last year.....I guess garage with their own space heater! Good luck with the bees - they are very important these days! And boy, you are up early!

:pccoffee: Good morning Porch People! Looks like another day off. Maaaayyyyybe get some Putz done. Knee appreciated the day off, so I know to not do too much, and tomorrow will be all good.

    Color matched Leer 100XR cap
I got my Leer Topper installed on my 2019 Tacoma today. It turned out pretty well.
The color match isn't perfect but it's darn close. I got two tube lights and each has one
broken bracket. Zip tie repair by the installer for now with new clips on order. Also, because the "windoors" and the single handle rear door use locks from different suppliers, I have to carry two different keys. Another minor annoyance. Overall, though, I'm pretty happy with the result.

Now, if anyone has any recommendations for black lug nuts I would appreciate it. The first set I put on rusted over within a year. I'm looking for a set with a longer life.

    Afternoon all:
    Cap looks good Bill!
I have a Leer on my Tacoma and am happy with it, they were offering the front fold down window for free at the time and am glad I got it, it would have been an extra $150 without the promotion and was something I wanted anyway.

My buddy saw a buck today that was in range, only problem was it didn't have enough points to be legal!
Then on the way home there was another buck standing in the woods just off the road :facepalm:, then further down the road we saw 3 cars with people around one of them, glanced over and saw that the windshield was cracked on the one and just past them was a dead doe laying by the road, I would have to assume that the car with the cracked windshield had collided with that deer!!!!!!!!

When I was a kid learning how to drive, we'd go driving around the pineapple fields at night in MY '49 Ford and try to run over deer. Ammo was expensive back then too!
Learned to drive the three on the tree when I turned 12. Good times...

    Good morning Porchies!!!

    Nice looking topper, Bill!!

I bought a new scraper bar for the UTV plow yesterday - destroyed the old one. But, I think I'll wait until next week when its in the 50s/60s to put it on.

We winterized the bees, too, yesterday. Pulled the mite treatment strips, put back the supers we'd saved with honey in them for food, then put on a spacer with some cloth inside to absorb moisture - the major killer of bees in the winter, and put on the mouse guards. Happily the hives were filled with bees...who were not at all happy that we were messing with them. I'll go back today and ratchet strap each hive to ensure they don't blow over.

Time to start mulching up some leaves, too.

    Be safe out there!!

Since we/most of us "fall back" this weekend, how many clocks do you have to change?

I have 6...bathroom, stove, bedroom, garage and 2 vehicles.
Forgot about the microwave...so that makes 7!

Tempted to change them this year and stay on standard time the rest of my life. I have one in the living room, a wristwatch, the stove and that's enough to piss me off twice a year. Funny thing about the wristwatch; I can't see the date anymore without my glasses, so in 2019 I set the date and left it. I have no idea what it says now. People have looked at it and said, "hey, the date is wrong." Me: Yep, don't care."

I have an older VCR and its clock already dropped back an hour last weekend...the OCD part of me wants to correct the clock, but the retired, lazy part of me won out and decided to ignore it since the problem will be resolved on Sunday morning...:pccoffee:

Thanks very much for the tip, Art. I'll give these a try. My first attempt at black lug nuts went through a Michigan winter (snow, ice, road salt). I live in Florida now so the conditions are much better for maintaining a finish.

I like the color! I have always used McGuard lug nuts. Never any rust. Search Results for: 2021 Toyota Tacoma (mcgard.com)

Good morning and welcome to the Senior shopping day of the weekend. Picked up a Fishman Mini acoustic guitar amp for my sons Christmas gift yesterday. I shop at the Guitar shop I used as a teenager and they never disappoint. $20 less than everywhere else plus they toss in a $20 cover for the amp. Loudbox Mini - Fishman
