The Toyo A30 tires on the Sport are very soft with a tread rating of only 300.
My originals have almost 38,000 and are worn pretty much to the wear indicators. All of my driving is on pavement. They are getting a little choppy looking on the edges.

I am satisfied with them, they have remained quiet and vibration free. My truck is off the road all winter, in the spring they will be replaced.

Probably going with the new Firestone Destination LE3 as they are available with old school style white letters and the review very well for quiet and wet traction.

Good morning, Porchies!! Sorry I had some of you worried - thought I'd mentioned we were heading out of the country for a week. Got back home about 1:30 AM today. Need to collect the pictures in one file...and drink some more coffee...but here's the pic I took yesterday morning. Sunrise in Antigua while the full moon sets in the east from in front of our room. WHat a change it is from waking up to 78 deg there yesterday and 35 here now.

Not bad. It has been my experience that regardless of the make or type of vehicle if you get 35K from the stock tires you are doing great.

My Sunday plans just went south. My son and wife were going to a concert today and I just received an email stating the concert has been cancelled. I was going to binge watch some more episodes of Ted Lasso this evening. Replacing the front door screen with the glass panel today and replacing the instant tap hot/cold water filter. Not a busy day at all.

A little something every chance we get.
Beautiful view there! Welcome back. I hope the whole trip looked just like that!

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch, and I'm looking to join Tom in a not busy day. Going to smoke some ribs, and see what gets in the way before some football. My Texas team has gotten pretty painful to watch, but there's only one more left. We already have the turkey, so will have to remember to get him a room in a cooler to thaw.

I was there, in Subic Bay, on the oiler mentioned in the article.
Coincidentally, we had a collision with an ammo ship later that day.

Ken, with respect, cherrypicking my post missed the point I was making. I spoke of "self segregating groups" comprising my experience in the Navy. My four years preceded the assassination of JFK, a full decade before the Kittyhawk riot. The makeup of all Services was different in my time than in yours to which I cannot speak to, nor can I relate to the pressures exerted on men of all races in times of combat. You would be accurate in saying that I have led a sheltered life but for my physical presence in Oakland and Berkeley before and during those troubled times, to which I remained quietly conflicted in opinion.

Nice cap! I just got a quote from ARE for one with my selected options, and wondering how that tailgate holds up when your driving on uneven terrain? does the body twisting make the gate opening out of square to any negative affect? About ready to pull the trigger on it:)
    Thanks, scott

Sorry, I don't do any of that, so I cannot say.
I have said before that I would go a different way if I had it to do over.
Popup cabover, like Four Wheel, or a DCU with better doors.

I like the beard, I thought I was looking in a mirror.

Thanks Ken, If we were closer I would try talking you into selling me your current topper so you pick out a different one. To me, those ARE walk in doors make it so much easier to climb in and out of the back. Would be a nice scenic drive thou, down to NC, pretty country!
