    Well, it got approved.
The guy I dealt with wasn't there, but all questions got answered.
Process begins tomorrow. (Just the black stuff in the middle~!)

I recall working in the bottom of the fireroom on ship and dropping something into the bilgewater. Everytime I drop a tool, I picture that scene.

    Umbrella, what a novel idea.

Better hustle if you want to use it these cool mornings. We've already used ours a few times.

    Good morning, all.

Getting the house all cleaned up and ready for Thursday. Had a CAT Scan of my heart taken yesterday. Appointment was for 2:30 and I was out of the office by 3:00. Cardiologist called me at 4:30 with good news. The Aorta has not enlarged from the last time I had the procedure, 2 years ago. Need to schedule my next 6-month checkup today.

My sister stopped at the local Toyota dealership yesterday to look at Tacoma's. There were not a lot of new vehicles on the lot and they all had a dealer mark up, price increase over sticker, of $5,000.00, she will not be buying a new vehicle anytime soon. I asked her to check and see if the 5K markup is on ordered vehicles or only on vehicles on the lot.

Now is not the time to be buying a new or used vehicle.

great time if you're selling a used vehicle. I can't believe what 1st gen Tacomas are selling for these days. I've actually thought about selling my 03 DC and just buying a reliable Honda civic. I really like my truck, but my days of 4 wheeling are long gone.

That's too cold already Mark! Was promised an overnight of 41* - Yellow Submarine data reports it hit 33*! Checked my greenhouse heater control, and it's ready to go. Plan to have them in there by Wednesday, even though it's not supposed to be as cold for a bit.

Great news on the checkup Tom! Always glad to hear that kind of news these days.

:pccoffee: Well, Good Morning Porch Pals and Gals! Simple day - hair cut, think I'm going to grab a generator down at Harbor Freight (might as well), and start moving plants.

Once I actually get the right stuff ordered later, the fireplace insert isn't likely to get here any sooner than mid-January anyway; which is pretty good lead time these days. If I had found them sooner......it's an odd search down here - had to actually get to places that "might be selling" - and only one of the three places actually did!

I was replacing a headlight bulb yesterday, and dislodged the spring clip. That little sucker found more places than you can imagine to fall and hide as I worked to put it back in!

That heart shit can follow you around if you let it. I'm convinced that a good attitude is it's own reward and an injured heart knows it. So good for you. Let the healing continue...
