Dr. Demento FTW. I am sure Grand Ma had the assembly line problem fixed quickly. LOL

Kurt: Nice job on the fabrication adjustments. Yesterday's pork butt came out amazing after a 14 hour cook at 225 degrees. Today is two spatchcocked chickens,

    Merry Christmas to all!!:101010::yes::D

My wife’s niece asked me about where I grew up. I asked my sister if she had any pictures of our house from back then she could send me. Among the dozens of photos she emailed was this picture of my wife at my parents’ house from (we think) Thanksgiving 1986. Don’t know why but it’s now one of my favorites. My WAG (wife and girlfriend), and our dog, in front of our first home. We bought it for 15K, on a little one way street between blocks, really just a glorified alleyway in downtown Salt lake City.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porchians! :santa: Santa was very nice to us, and hope he was to you as well.
The only fly in the ointment was the temp probes on the smoker going crazy on the bird. At one point, I had 98*, 156*, and 531* in the breast! This happened last turkey too! Then they worked fine on some chops. I will clean and test them on some boiling water later. A little bizarre if you ask me!
    Have a great day, everyone!

At the time that picture of my wife was taken we had been married about 3-1/2 years. I imagine she was staring into the fire and wondering how and why she ever married into this nuthouse of a family. Somehow we’re still going strong all these years later, May will be our 39th anniversary. Looking at that picture reminds me that marrying that girl was the smartest thing I’ve ever done.

I enjoyed watching the birds during my morning walk today...on the first part of my walk, I noticed a flock of doves flying round and around and around with a single white dove among them...on my way back to the house I saw a hawk circling overhead just sailing along on the wind...and then I heard the Canadian geese forming up for their morning sortie from the cove at the bottom of the hill...

Not bad now that I knew how to get it done. Half hour getting up and down, half hour with the shock, and a half hour wrestling them darn big, heavy wheels!:rofl:

Front Bearings?? Oh why not make another mess?
Rewatch the video, and get the tools and....
Nope, nope. Old puller I have is not suitable! Reconsider plan.....
Hmmm..... the majority of EwTubers just whack it with a hammer. I have a variety of hammers, and will probably take this up on the morning.

Get Mikkel to help me with the "going to move you" hitch first.

    Good morning fellow Porchatonians!

I was talking with a friend the other day who told me the local Husqvarna dealer where I got my mowers and chain saw has a good stock of snow blowers. I may just have to head over and take a look this morning.

Oh goodie....snow then freezing rain expected today :annoyed:
Oh well the good thing is that the snow is supposed to be 1st then the freezing rain.
So I won't be clearing any snow until it all stops.
Much rather have the freezing rain sit on top of the snow instead of underneath it.
