Since we bought the TACO for my Wife she said I can't drive my Challenger GT till winter is over?? She said it is for those special drives coming up soon! I miss it but she lets me drive hers and it may not be as nice as the Challenger but it has it's own set of things it does the other can't! I love the TRD it is the best truck I have ever drove and I have owned a few in my life!! Strange part is I was so sick at the end of doing the big building I thought it was over for me! Real soon after that job I decided it was the end and I quit all the pills the doctors had me on and was ready to die? I could not even walk 75 ft with out sitting down! Weird thing was when I quit all the pills I got better and was able to walk a mile and that was in 2016 and I am still trucking! Since then I got the Challenger, Taco and a few more toys to enjoy! Doctors are pissed but wait till my Lawyer gets done with them! Soon there getting notice how they screwed up big time and did not even care! That is a long story but so glad I quit the pills and did not die cause I sure have had a lot of fun in the last 5+ years!! I take nothing now at all and will keep it that way. I am only 5' 5" and 127 lbs but for me that is just right!

Nice looking Taco. I'm partial to the color.

DCLB Silver. I did toss on an RSI metal cap, rock sliders, and skid plates. The rock slider and skidplate have paid for themselves on bad trails roads. My son has told me that 4x4 means I'm joining to get further into the backcountry before getting stuck.

I really should add a winch.

Nice Back Country I love the view! Good Choice on the Long bed!! I will add stuff to mine just have to get the wife's approval she said it looks just right and it is her Truck! Boy I got all pumped up just thinking about our wildfire again! Heck of a way to get rid of the tall grass, brush and sage brush around us. Makes the land later look even nicer when it greens up again! Gets rid of the tiny trees to around all the big ones. Even moves out people you don't like near you! I fixed all the burnt fences and this is the small barn my wife was saving. I kept yelling to leave it if it gets to bad! Now there is 7 sprinklers mounted on the walls aimed out that soak the building inside and out. A under ground line goes to it off my pumps. Never again do I want my wife in danger during a fire! She is one hell of a strong woman, glad I married her hard to find one who will stand with a fire hose in the middle of that all around her! On a pole my flag is on it measured 187 degrees on my weather station! The air was so hot everywhere just the spray of water kept us cool. Last 2 picture shows what it looks like now this winter after I repaired the fence. It was green again after the fire.

I did the same thing with the doctors and all the pills and bs they where feeding me. I just eat real food now, nothing packaged or processed, no preservatives, just eat clean. I'm in better health than I've ever been. I have gained some weight but I'm a truck driver for a living and it's hard to keep the weight off. 165 to 170 is a good weight for me, I'm 190 now and I dont like it. Hopefully they will hire another driver at work soon to replace the one that retired so I can get back on my excersize program that is a way of life for me. Right now I'm working 12+ hour days and find it hard just to get proper sleep let alone exercise. The moral of this story is to be proactive in your health and you wont need the doctors.

    Evening all:
Thanks for sharing the Pics. Mark, that's quite a setup your daughter has. My one buddy and his son, who is a taxidermist, buy and sell mounts, the dad, who is a skilled sign painter, has mounts from floor to ceiling in his entire shop, plus a few antler chandlers hanging from the ceiling, it's always neat to walk in there, no pics. of that though!

I know this is a TACO Site but this page is for the Old Guys and we talk old guy stuff memories too. All the real exciting stuff has passed for some of us? Glad I was able to tell a little about me and my life here. Thank, Mark

This is my Daughters Site on Etsy she sells a lot of her stuff on. Furries | Etsy

I used to put Skeletons together for her to sell. They went to schools for up to $11K but hard to ship! Still will do one but haven't in a while. Got good at them no books on how to do it. I came up with many ways to put them together. Took me a week to do a horse or cow. No animals were just killed to do them. They were sick ones or injured ones needing put down or animals that dies she went and picked up. She has Beetle Cleaning tanks to do the bones in.

I know what you mean. I can look at this finished house inside or out, and see every stud, floor joist, wire, water line, truss, heat run, etc. in it. I would get up early when I heard Dad stirring, so I could go with him to work. I wasn't even in school yet. The other guys on the job would laugh at him. He would say, he said he wants to learn from the best. He was a master carpenter, passed away at 72. I miss him every day.

THX Tom. My cousin's husband was at the bridal shower yesterday. He looked better than he did a week ago. His Parkington's is accelerated since his fall on Thanksgiving Day, but the good news is his mind is back in sync with no memory problems. He does have problems getting up after sitting for a few hours, which is normal after a fall. He was engaged in the conversation and did not miss anything that was being said at the table.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:I have the same 'stuff' problem. Instead of replacing the small shed we are going to move the shed to another location the shed will be increased to 8X10. The old, shed location will become a small garden, the second garden in the back yard.

I hear you on the ladders. I had to stop going up ladders too.

X2 on the topics we discuss. Keeps me coming back to the page as part of my morning :pccoffee:. I bookmarked your daughter's site. I am actually looking for a set of boot laces for some dressier boots. I spied a Ridged Spindel Sander, how does your daughter like it? I need to purchase one for some sign construction work this summer.

I had a great time at the baby shower yesterday. My sister, other niece and nephew outdid themselves with planning and hosting the party.

    Missouri Winters.

My cousin worked for the post office. He had a rural route in Northern California. His wife was from Missouri and told him she wanted to live closer to her parents, so he put in a transfer. Approved and within a month was on his new route in Missouri.

After the first winter, he had enough, put in a transfer back to California, and was informed, "you have to wait until someone wants to transfer here, but that takes years to happen!"

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Gals! Well, warm enough with no sports distractions to start working off the list again. Looking to warm into a pretty nice week, overall. Need to start getting my steps back in - just walking. Think those on-line tracker maps, about 200' long, and back and forth and back and forth.....
That's all the bigger I have to work with, but someone's got to keep it up!

    Morning all:
Glad you enjoyed the baby shower Tom, good to hear the cousin's husband's mind is getting back to normal.
Did you go to both a bridal and a baby shower yesterday, sounds like a busy day!

X3 on the topics, we are sort of like the local morning coffee gathering, plenty of interesting things have been discussed on here by some very knowledgeable people who have varied interests and hobbies.

Interesting -- my first thought here was --there are a heck of a lot of places that have worse winters than Mo. I guess it is all in what you get used to and/or can tolerate.

Winters drove us out of South Dakota. Having three blizzards in three weeks, and spending twenty hours on the tractor clearing the driveway, was enough to make us rethink. And then there were the five foot snows at our in-town house.

But the bugs drove us out of Arkansas. Walking to the mailbox, the house right on the county road so maybe 75 feet, and we could bring a hundred ticks into the house. Impossible to have a house dog if it ever went outside. And the chiggers...

Everywhere has a downside, but those were too extreme to be put up with. Of course some people get used to it...

    Afternoon all:
:yay: Just got done fixing a constantly dripping faucet that was on my to do list for a while. Ended up having to buy a valve socket wrench for a little over 6 dollars and two 60 cent rubber seals, wonder how much a plumber would have charged to do it, probably somewhere between 100-200 dollars, glad I didn't need to find out.

She likes it and uses it a lot on the Antler Stuff she makes. Not sure on how many 1,000 lbs she has cut up yet but lots. She makes the Neckless Antlers for the Big Boy Scout Get Together. about 1,000-1,500 of them is sent to them for it. That is a lot of points to collect and drill out! All her tools are used a bunch. She is on her 3rd to 4th Band Saw! The small one works the best for her. I have a 18" Laguna Band Saw myself and it is Big!

Around here you need to watch out for the Big Kitties when in the woods! This one is 6 ft 8 in long and a Female too!! Biggest one I have seen here in a while. Look how big the front Paws are. Bet it is over 200 lbs but Shelby weighed it and will know when I see her later. Local Hunter brought it in for her to skin and do the hide. We had one close to this size shot by a Lady hunting for Coyotes near on our place!
I am 5'5" and the head and tail stick out further then me I have a hard time even dragging it on the concrete for the picture! Not a phony angle picture either!! Have you ever held a mad Cat before just think if this one was mad at you in the woods?

That is a big kitty! When I was young i wanted to shoot one, not so much in later life.

Does your daughter go to the antler auction in Jackson Hole Wy., the buddy I mentioned has been out there several times and came back with a truckload of antlers each time.
