60+ year old thread.

Saw more robins than we could count this am, 30 miles to town and back grocery run. Birds at our feeders are getting their spring colors, checking out nesting boxes.

 

After seeing the dog cartoon Carl posted I remembered seeing this one.

 

Don't want to facilitate your thread going to the dogs, but I had a flashback from the brilliant Gary Larson.

 

Good morning fellow Porchatonians!! Lots of signs of Spring here in northeast PA, too. And, then, I woke up to a coating of snow on the ground.

 

This is interesting. Picked up a few pairs of Levi type pants the other day, took off all the tags to wash them, found a black plastic anti-theft thing pinned inside the waistband on one pair. Took it back to have it removed, girl says it's not theirs. They have no tool. The girl could see me getting hot, says I'll get the store owner. Wife says I was looking angry when she walked up. She let me trade for whatever I wanted. Smart lady. She also said "The device has a dye inside. Might have broken open in the laundry." IDK.
I can't keep up with this crap.

There is a hilarious clip on the web - of a Russian APC - out of fuel and abandoned. Erstwhile "soldiers" had fled. Said vehicle was being dragged away by Ukrainian farmers with a tractor. They were chatting and laughing - and a commentator asked if it could pull a plow.......

Good Morning Porch Pals & Gals! Funny stuff to get rid of February. The longest short month out there!

Well, let's start with a visit to the dentist for cleaning, and go from there. The little list of little things to catch up with grew in the rain, and it will be good to get back after it. Going to see about a handy man the wife located to tackle the little chimney top project, now that it's warm enough.

Good Morning Porch Pfolks! A little colder than promised last night - uncovered everything and had several hours at 32*. Oh well, if it's not hardened by now.... Got the guy coming to paint the chimney top this afternoon, and lots of putz around it to do.

 

Costco refund check. $408, spent $411! Could have been worse!

Time for my wife's CRVs annual oil change. 1800 miles in one year!
