    Good morning fellow Porchatonians!!

60s yesterday...snow flurries this morning. Just another northeast PA Spring.

I re-worked the rear footwell lights yesterday to position them under the rear seats - use black 1/2" 3M tape to secure the wires inside the seat brackets and pulled the under-seat storage bin to run the wires along the forward wall. Turned out nice. Next up is to hard-wire the new powered phone mount I got from COurse Motorsports.

Off to the attorney's office this morning to update our wills, powers-of-attorney and medical declarations. You never know when you'll need them.

    Be safe out there!

Picked up an iPhone 13 few days ago. Like that it's the same size as my old 7+. Way faster, better battery/charging, even pad charging if I wanted it.. I didn't. Really like face recognition and better screen resolution, which I need as I age gracefully.

Confounded power is out again. It went out just as we climbed into bed last night, so pretty good timing I guess. No resolution in sight according to the power company website.

Every now and then my wife says "why the heck do we have 4 cans of gas in the shed?" or "why are we still paying for DSL?" or "what in the name of electra is all that stuff in the basement with the blinking lights and wires going everywhere?" or "what are you making me for breakfast?" (that's on Sundays). This morning we are sitting here with heat, lights, frozen things in a box in the kitchen, and she is playing Words With Friends on her cellphone, just like any other day. But if I were to use that as an answer to her questions, I'd get my head bitten off! Go figure. :)

March doing it's lion thing. ;)
Ugh. We have to do that also. Plus a few other estate planning things. My mom & dad had funeral arrangements pre-made, burial plots selected, even roughed in their own obituaries. It was a tremendous help when dad passed because mom was in no shape to make decisions. It also made things a whole lot easier when she followed him home last year. I want to do the same thing and have all that stuff as well arranged as I can.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Poarch Pals & Gals! Yuck. 40*, grey, and wet. Looks like I'll be playing tug of war with Rex today. Oh, when Carol gets back from the Retired Teachers meeting, we have to get rid of the couch, so there's that. Her new one comes sometime tomorrow mornings.

    @ImpulseRed008 - tick, tock.

@roundrocktom - I had to have those spacers for the amps under the seats. Didn't know it when I was mounting them, I thought they would fit. Got some Ag spacers at Ace. Then broke down and bought some real ones from that guy that sold them a long time on TW. Actually, I fit good at 6', and it is a little more comfortable. I needed more height on the passenger side, so I left the longer Ag spacer in there. Plenty sturdy, and wife and dog who ride once in a blue moon fit just fine.

    Afternoon all:

 Local fuel oil went from $4.599 to $4.899 in one day, now two days later its $5.299, add 10-15c per gal. to that if you get it from the guys in town. Soon time to turn the thermostat down and break out the -30 deg. sleeping bag, it's going to hurt when I need to fill up the tank. Two things that I'm glad of, the oil furnace is now set up properly and having the coal stove, I would really be going through fuel oil without those two things combined and it would be costing me a bundle!
Which reminds me, time to throw a few more shovels of coal on the fire!

Nope, not yet.... soon, very soon....

    evening all

 got my prescription in the mail today... package all ripped open. Package delivered even though it clearly states, do not deliver and return. Called the they are shipping me another one. Spoke with a very nice pharmacist who made sure I had enough on hand to make it until the new package arrives. Don't trust this bottle, since it's not a sealed container, so nope, not using it and pharmacist said don't use it.

    Evening all:
Good move Sue, a ripped open package and a non-sealed container containing prescription meds. could end up being not good if someone had messed with them.

We are supposed to get 1" to 3" of snow today and another 3" to 5" this weekend. March is clearly coming in like a lion.

Gas is now $4.25 a gallon. Some say we will hit $7 ! Gallon. I remember the last time it was this high it totally destroyed the economy. People didn't have enough money left to even buy cars, and now you can't even get them anyway. By by auto makers! Tesla and the Chinese will be the dominant vehicle now because that's all you can get.
    Sad times ahead I think.

Kids are thinking about buying an electric car. I might install a charging circuit, just so there won't be an excuse not to visit the old folks out here in the boonies.
Come to think of it, I have a 50A welder outlet.. the right adapter would plug right in.

You won’t be able to charge them anyway as the grid won’t be able to handle it. In Cal. last year they
told people not to charge their cars cause it was going to overload the grid.

Sorry the ride is gone Mike. It has to almost be like losing a child. I enjoy the pics you posted.

    Congrats Susan.

How do you like that hose reel?

Wow, 10 pages of posts. Everyone here has been busy. Spent a wonderful 10 days in Florida visiting relatives. Great times for sure.

New phone was a nice upgrade. Still have a way to go with bringing applications on line.
