I am getting too old to hustle stone. ;)
Picked up some extra rocks on Tuesday and today for around the pond and to make steps up to the bird feeded. The total weight was close to 700 lbs.

I used a wheelborrow to move the rocks from the Tacoma to the back yard but the rock is still heavy. It did not seem as heavy 5 years ago.

No more whining from me, it is time to trim the lawn. Then a shower, off to buy some plants and then on to the movies with the family at 2:00 today.

I would say is the car purring like a kitten but I know better. With the L72 engine if the car had wings it would be able to fly. ;)

I love the rumble of the L72, low and loud.

Did a lot of work in the veggie garden today Susan. I need to stop and clean the Tacoma tomorrow but I know that will not happen. Too many small outside items that need to be worked on.

I was really feeling old today. I would take 10 good licks with a pick, trying to dig out a cement footer for a garden bench, and I would need to take a 2 min breather. Swinging a 10lb sledge was not a lot of fun either.

I don't post much here ... but several of my HS classmates (that I was very close to) have died recently. And some that I have known back to age 3 or 4 y/o.

As we get older ... they start going fast ... just reflecting back as I am typing this. Cancer & heart attacks are getting most of them.

Since leaving the military ... I try to squeeze every drop of the "juice of life" out everyday. Feel very fortunate just to breathe that sweet smell of the air everyday now.

On this Memorial Day ... RIP to all (military & civilian) that have passed before us.
