A little something every chance we get.
Good. Ready for the Dr. tomorrow, then home to meet the window replacement guy - and give him 1/2 down. So, a day off from cleaning!

Well, I guess we have a new race car.
If it looks familiar, it is.
    Another Elva MK7S.
So much for a year off.

Needs work to make it ours.
Go over the whole car (nut and bolt)
    Install new seat
    New tires
    Brake pedal modification
Would like to change the side number appearance. Front looks cool but side bland.
May not be able to do that this year.

Should the seat be higher with more bolstering?

As long as the safety equipment and other things to make it safe are done. That all that matters.

Bob is going to sit much lower anyway. Previous driver was over 6’. It’s leg length

Not really. I do wear the hideous sunglasses when I am outside. The eye drop struggle is real. I am in the middle right now, so each eye has a different routine. I was lucky when I married my wife. She administers the spray and drops. I put the eye gel in the left eye and put the protective eye cove on the right eye before I go to bed at night.

THX Rob. every day it gets better. I was surprised just how bad my problem was. Looking out of my right eye, everything is so clear and does not have that yellowish tint. The improvement is kind of amazing.

I really enjoyed the PTSD conversation that happened in this thread. I was lucky, in Vietnam, not to have an actual combat role. Vietnam had 20 troops supporting each troop in a combat role. My admiration for the 11B troops is still strong today. I vowed, a long time ago, to never let happen to our men and women in uniform today, what happened to us.

Do you make house calls? LOL Garage work area is really clean, until the next back to back projects.

Going out to a Baysox baseball game tonight. A friend of ours has tickets to a suite with food and drink included.

    Happy weekend everyone.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Gals! It being a Friday makes a lot of people happy! Just another day to go to the Dr. around here! Going to give me a day off from cleaning, although the progress does make me happy enough to consider the tool box wall. Yes, clean horizontal space is a real struggle!

Elva looks fun Mike. Can't wait to see it in action, and what you guys do to it. I knew you'd be back racing!

Good news on the eye Tom. Every time I get a serious check, they tell me I'm doing well, so I think I'll just be happy with glasses, and not push the issue.

Way back when, many friends and acquaintances that came back from Viet Nam were certainly struggling with PTSD, and no one knew what it was. Sad to say that everyone knows better now, but I'm glad of that understanding.

I use to many years ago.
I have a serious race addiction.
If I sat behind the wheel again and actually drove in a race I would not have any retirement money.
Cause when I do something I go all out.
So I get my fix by working on them.

Good Morning from Monkey Mtn

Made it in with only one winch session. Nice to confirm our investment in that piece of kit was wise and necessary. ;)

Only got down to 36°F out here last night. Walking thru the muck I decided Stitch will be airing down his tires for the trip out tomorrow morning. Likely be SUSVEE and wheelers for the next 4-6 weeks while the trail turns to soup in several spots before it dries out.

Glad to see @Tacoma Mike will be gainfully occupied this Summer. The kind folks of Maine will be relatively safe from the chaos and havoc he would have created.

Be safe, healthy, and most importantly happy my friends and mentors.
    RESPECT :oldglory:
