 the infection is not serious and healing. LOL on the blond reference.

    :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

The tiny vegetable garden is now planted. The Jalapeno plants were well hidden at the nursery. Took me a few minutes to find them.

Not much to do today: Install a bracket for a hanging plant, put some Green Clean in the pond, to help fight Alge, and do a small grocery store run.

In my senior guitar class we are learning finger picking. I am failing so miserably, my fingers are not doing what the brain says it needs to do. I just need to keep practicing till my brain gets on autopilot with my fingers. It is not helping that I am having to struggle to read the music with reading glasses.

Anyone have a recommendation for a vegetable plant that can be planted outside the enclosed garden? I have a spot that needs to be filled.

    Everyone have a great day.

I still don't have the new building connected to electricity. The electrician keeps saying it will come "next week" and the box I ordered as a backup hasn't been shipped yet, ordered April 28th. I called around to all the electricians in the area to see if they were interested in completing the job and one guy says he keeps the boxes IN STOCK so he can do the job. Of course he's busy with other things. I have another one coming today to see and bid the job.

The building as it is now.

I'm planning on going to the livestock auction today. I went last week and missed bidding on a steer I could have bought. Prices are very weird. They can fluctuate more than a buck and the auctioneer is already difficult to understand as he does his chant. I couldn't tell if he was selling the calf for $1.80 a pound or $.80... and it was the lower price. I'm looking for something to turn into hamburger and I only have a small pasture so I need something lightweight and cheap.

Trying Shishito peppers for a new variety - lots of them on the plant already. Look like short, wrinkled green beans. According to net instructions they get toasted to blacken and bubble a bit and munched for appetizers. The jalapeno plants seem to have been waiting for 100º to take off - but going strong now. Hit 105º on Saturday - too early for me but apparently not unusual.

Yeah, I've got one in my freezer. That's what we usually do. Raise two and my brother pays for processing and gets one. That's the back-up plan if I can't get a calf by the first Monday of June when the sheep auction is.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Susan! Ah, choices from the list again. All of them going to be in the hot, but some, maybe I should wait for some clouds? Hmm.. Might tackle adjusting the springs, and fixing the mount for the shock resi.
Fortunate that the case settled yesterday. Summons #43, and there were not but 19 people that showed!

    It's been a crazy day.

I went to take my wife's CRV in for bodywork (minor damage from her parking lot accident). I loaded up the Folding trike in the back and discovered a dead battery. Sheesh. Put a 5Amp trickle charger on it for an hour and fired right up. I dropped it off and cycled home.

Once home decided time to tackle adding the DiodeDynamics rear backup lights to the Tacoma bumper. Perfect for pulling into a camping spot late at night and having a wide light area. Well, the 3rd generation Tacoma has a great big stiffener behind the bumper. It is not going to work. I don't want them under the bumper either. Plan B is to mount the lights on my bed cap. They tuck inside the rear cap, open a flap and have lighting.

I went to edit 360 filmings I did on my GoPro Max over the weekend when I was riding with my son. Oh fudge, Go Pro no longer supports that software, and you have to use Adobe Plug-Ins into the program to render footage. I purchased the Max in 2019, used software a year ago, and it's no longer available. Not too happy with Go Pro as it wasn't cheap.

Grabbed the trash bag out of the shop to toss the yard trash can before going out the street. The bottom seam burst open, dumping contents. Lots of little aluminum swarf from the milling machine, my wife's first question was "have you been machining something?" Busted.

I am waiting for it to cool down to get in an evening ride.

Well I got a notice yesterday that there has been a problem filling my order for the breaker box. I was supposed to have electricity in the building "by Christmas" and now I have no clue when it will actually happen.

I called around to all the local electricians, other than the one I've been dealing with... to see if they can GET THE JOB DONE. Every one said they'd come look and bid completing the job. One guy says he keeps 200 amp boxes in stock and has some, but he's busy with other projects for a while.

    Life goes on...

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Gals! Well, changed out our cabin air filters on the vehicles first thing, and made the mistake of telling the wife how easy they made the RAV4. Because she asked if I "fixed" the window lock control, so that she can operate the windows from the driver seat, with the lock on. I explained again, that's not how it works, but that didn't fly. There is ONE statement in the manual that alludes to the driver being in control of the locked windows, and she reads it that she can operate the windows. Much Uncle Google, and 5 RAV4 forums, and a friend who has the exact same car later....answer is still the same. Well, not how she remembers it, and she will ask her friend. :smack:

So, I did more spring research, and cleaned my K&N instead of getting down on the ground to play with the suspension, at 95*. Rides fine when parked, after all. I might just wait until the weekend, when we're going to have a cold front and only 85* highs! Because, the pool was very nice yesterday!
