The pole barn (really a shop/garage) HAS POWER!

I have lights, outlets, a fan, and music! And my wife likes to deliver cold drinks. I think I have a new home.

 

Evening all:

Don't know if I should be happy or cry, home heating oil just dropped to $4.999 a gal., better than $5.899 but still $2.00 a gal. higher than I paid last fall, hopefully it will go lower but I doubt it will get anywhere near the fall price.

 

Only 3.5 cans of rust-oleum.

I was happily meditating, hydrating , and contemplating that I got this far with sorted and cleaned stuff from the garage. Labor is free.



Will take some bins to make it quick to complete. Doctor tomorrow, so should finish this weekend.

 

Good morning fellow Porchatonians!!

Got the chainsaw back so I decided to give it a run yesterday. Turned out to be a bad clutch - works like new now. I took down a tree that was blocking our view and a bunch of brush. Now I need to get all the limbs and brush cleared up.

Cut grass and picked up the clippings in the afternoon. Having the string trimmer mounted on the Zero Turn is fantastic. I can stop and trim a spot and then climb back on the mower. With all the area I mow it's nice not to have to walk all over carrying the trimmer.

I'm going to vacuum the pool this morning and then just putter around, I think.

Just posted about a local dying after a zero turn slid into a creek, I just read where another guy has died in Bradford county Pa. after his lawnmower slid into a pond, then there's the guy I worked with who was killed while mowing the golf course.
Those are the ones that you know about, I'm sure there are plenty more, apparently just mowing an area can become a dangerous endeavor.

Laundry day for towels today. Then it is off to lunch with my lunch partner. I found a new restaurant on the water that is sort of walker friendly. The only obstacle is there are two steps up to get to the men's room. He said he can handle that.

Good Morning Porch Pals & Gals! Off to the Dr. for follow up to the follow up. Discuss the artery & vein ultrasound test. Not likely to fix that pain in the butt, but at least it's only when I get out of bed now. Stupid pinched nerve! Do some errands while I'm out, and see what I can finish up in the garage.
You riding mower guys better stay careful! Looks like it's getting more dangerous! Probably too much Horsepower...
