Hunted back a few pages in the Misc category for the 50+ thread...and then I lost interest so I guess I'm getting closer to fitting in here. :)

I'm 56 so I have a few years before I can legally join you, but it's nice to know that owning a Taco is not the automotive equivalent of wearing baggy shorts with my underwear hanging out. ;)

The honor is all mine, Jim! Seems to be a great group of folks here with many stories and experiences. I'm a 26 year Army vet and retired O6 - commissioned in '77. 13 years in Arty, 13 in Intel and trained as an Arabic-speaking Middle East/North Africa specialist. Spent my last 6 years in the DC area - a year at National War College and the remainder assigned to Army Strategy, Plans and Policy in the Pentagon.

Moved back to northeast PA after I retired at the end of 2003 and we built our "dream" home on our property here. Now working at a 2 year private college as the Executive VP and loving life.

Don't want to butt in to your thread - but will gladly accept the guidance and wisdom of this august group.

    Mark

    Welcome Mark.

Another Army guy in the thread. I was getting a little sea sick with all the Navy Vets. ;) I never fared all that well on the water.

I bet you do not miss the DC traffic at all. ;)

Morning Jim and Ken. Getting ready to start caulking right after I finish this cup of coffee. ;)

It is supposed to start raining this evening right thru Monday. With luck I will start to paint on Tuesday.

I also hope to do a grill mod this weekend. :D
