Morning All, How is the pup Sue?

MUCH better this morning... or should I say the "opiods" have worn off, so . She had me worried when she was completely non-responsive - I couldn't even get her to move an eye or move her foot when I was playing with it . She was semi-awake on the way home, but then zoned out again once we got home. About an hour after we got home her friend, and mom & dad, stopped by and Zoie woke up enough to mooch a couple of treat crumbs (and she had to pee). After that I'd get a response when touching her. She still slept 99% of the evening.

I have never had a dog that was "out" for that long. When I got to the vet to pick her up, her tongue was sticking out of her mouth and was all dry. I put it back in her mouth and he said she kept sticking it out - I say BS, but...she kept it in, once I put it in. The thing that really pissed me off was when the one girl came in and was trying to stimulate her and grabbed her by the skin on her sides/back and pulled her up and kept jostling her around. I told her to stop - that had to hurt

They said she had a reaction to the meds...

Afternon all glad to hear Zoie is coming around..surgery on a pet can be just as bad as it is on us. She''ll be runnin' round in a day or two like nohing hapened.
Hot one today but getting ready to rain and hopefully cool things off a bit. Have a goodnight all.

 

Yes, thats what I have be finding out. Even the Toyota people couldn't tell me. You can buy "plug in" SIRIUS radios that will plug into the AUX port on your dash.

back again:
just read something in the local paper.
2 people, a man and a woman, went to an 89 yr. old womans house and started doing unsolicited driveway sealing. said if she liked it and wanted the rest of it done, to give them the money, and they would do the rest of it.
she went in and opened a safe to get money out. the woman distracted her and the man went into the house, to rob her. Found the open safe and made off with $90K in cash. (the times news, lehighton PA.)
Hope they catch these SOB's!

 

Morning All...it's amazing how many scams are targeting the elderly Carl. Catching these SOB's won't do the lady any good as the money is already gone and if they do go to jail for the crime, they will have it better then the poor women that has to try to survive without her savings. And we'll have to pay (taxes) to keep these sh#*s locked up...turn them over to the public for a stoning or caning or lynching or whatever, but the poor victim still won't be able to get any help......sorry for the rant, but it gets me going to hear sh#*heads preying on the elderly.

Either they got very lucky, or someone knew something!
Looks like there's still people out there that don't trust banks!
WONDER WHY!
On another forum, someone stole a Lund boat from a member, and another member had all his tackle stolen at a tournament.
I've already done the same as Jim, later at night mostly. Answer door with loaded pistol in hand.
Even on these different forums, I try to stay basic and not to get too specific. and when BSing with people in general, try to keep some info at a minimum.
You know, like; how much money do you usually carry in your wallet, how many guns do you own, etc.

 

so how much $$ do you carry and how many guns do you have stashed at home? hmmm

NAW! Just nosey, curious, general conversation by people you know. But other "EARS" are sometimes around, and sometimes things get repeated by them in other conversations, where more "EARS" are around.
