I have a DeWalt 12" chainsaw I got for my wife. It does a half decent job for trimming and stuff like that. We've even cut larger deadfall with it on occasion. The neighbor lady liked ours so much she bought a 12" and a 16" DeWalt. I wouldn't want to cut firewood with any of them because they don't have the torque or blade speed of my gas saw.

EDIT: A chainsaw is one of those applications where the amperage of the battery will make a difference. (I'm still not going to shell out for a 9AH battery though.)

OK, the first two serial numbers are accounted for....that leaves about 335 (depending on what you read). Where did this soon to be beautiful number come from?

The owner of the car we are used to (the #23 - one of two delivered originally to one C. Shelby for racing) sold it recently. He got a very fair price! So, it seems we have a "new" addition!

I have a corded makita electric chainsaw and an ego battery powered chainsaw, both work well for trimming trees around the house. I cut down a 12 to 14 inch locust with the ego and it did really well. Both saws also come in handy for trimming up logs in my wood shop to put on the lathe. I can run either indoors with no fumes.

This one was a one owner car. He butchered it and put a corvette drivetrain in it. Had to completely reconstruct the chassis again to factory specs and construct body panels. Had to make engine parts. Long process

Race car had their own motors. The original one is back in it before it was sold
