Actually wasn't aimed at you, Kurt. Young folks at work been driving me a little crazy lately. I'm having trouble adjusting and accepting the new world order. Today's Air Force feels more corporate than military. I'll just stop there.

    No offense intended, Sir.

Glad it skirted us. We still got some great rain, but we don't need baseball-sized hail.

I did my Tetris games to get the cars into the shop. I realized, "hey, some Baltic Birch Plywood is still stacked in there!" I need to sketch out some camp chuck box ideas to make a lengthwise storage box to fit into the back of the Tacoma for my camping stove and supplies. Baltic Birch was Russian-sourced, and pretty scarce these days.

My son got me a new EcoFlow battery setup for the next camping trip. My CPAP was drawing quite a bit of current using the humidifier in the high desert of Big Bend, so I got about four hours. Thankfully with 200W of solar on the roof, pretty easy to keep the battery charged.

Ya know, as much a PITA a CPAP is - the other night last week when we lost power, I went to bed without it. Pretty happy....then the power came back, and I immediately put it on! That's how I sleep now, can't not have it!

Last week, stopped in the Toyota dealer to snag OEM Toyota 0W20. It was coming up on 18,000 miles; time for its third oil change.

I spotted a Tundra that I liked. Smaller cab, six-foot bed. There is more room in the back, compared to a DC Tacoma.

It took a few minutes to realize this was a 4x2 drive train. SR5 with a $4000 "trim package" with the steps, bigger wheels, tires, and blacked-out emblems.

Update: I asked the Dr to write the concerns on paper for me. I looked it up after dinner, and will request further testing immediately. Two different but similar conditions, both of which require aggressive treatment. They typically start at age 60. I'm 82, so there's the 20 years.

I believe I tip the scales toward leaving this place better than I found it. I do not ask for your prayers, but do appreciate the good thoughts. I'm a pragmatist, and have outlived all of my male direct ancestors. :hattip:

Made it to Ocala late yesterday afternoon without incident, furniture swap is complete. Whoohoo! Thank goodness for the niece’s 6’8” bear of a husband, he just snatched the couch and love seat out of the trailer and carried them like they were nothing while the rest of us were left to handle the cushions and pillows. I’m scheduled to drop the trailer off at 10 this morning and the rest of the day is mine. Love that little 1st gen, 18 years old, almost 96K on the clock and with the transmission cooler I installed a month ago the transmission temp never exceeded 175 while driving 70 mph with OD locked out and ECT on. I swear the Taco’s split bench seats are more comfortable than the seats in our Audi Q5.

Finally found a great furniture store within driving distance. Bought a couple nice pieces, as our Christmas gifts to each other this year. Delivered yesterday. "Just sign here"...what could be easier? haha.

Yeah I had a Chinese 50cc scooter with instructions like that. A typical note: 'Careful not turn severe may not continue upright...'

First and foremost - Thank you for your service. I'm glad medical services are available for vets. If I recall correctly, 20 years would put you into triple digits!

I am sure you have already checked with your dump/landfill. Our county dump has a special recycle sections open to county residents Thursday through Saturday each week. They will take anything including electronics.

Nice modification. Looks like you might have cleaned up a little more clutter in the process. I like the perforated bar in the front, it could come in handy.

Good morning, a nice 66 degrees at 10:00am in the back yard. This week's warm spell has the new grass seed sprouting. Today is picking up Polling location supplies for Monday night's team meeting and setup. Probably going out to dinner and music tonight.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! A nice, rumbly 0.79" of rain over about 45 minutes, and all the severe stuff went elsewhere.

    Stay positive Alan!
