Thanks, but none of this was an issue - at all. Everything that was "part of the opener" worked perfectly - EXCEPT it's promised ability to connect to WiFi, and App (which, has limited virtues, but dammit - I paid for it!).
These are akin to all the "solutions" Chamberlain offered - everything is YOUR fault, adjust everything else.

 I could have used that trick back in my auto-x days. My class was lots of highly modified Miatas. Tire pressures/shock settings/spring rates/alignment settings were guarded like Cold War secrets. One driver was suspended for a year when someone heard his door close and it sounded odd. Filed a protest, door panels were pulled. No window glass for weight saving.

I see. One of those "smart" openers that you can open or close miles away from your home, but doesn't work worth @!#$%^&* when there's no power in your neighborhood or the internet is down. Plus probably tracks your coming and going. May be susceptible to hacking and or something called "war driving". Got it.

The items I indicated though, about moving the channels used by your router, and also having a LED bulb, perhaps even in the garage ceiling still a propos. Sometimes these things are a PITA for fellow Amateur Radio Licensees.
In all things YMMV. Take car. I mean, take care. :pccoffee:

Had one years ago. We were on a cruise with 2 other couples. I had pain in my lower back for days, it wasn’t terrible but there was no way or no position where I got get comfortable. He pain started to radiate around to the front as we were getting ready for dinner one night and I had an urgent need to go and when I did I nearly passed out from the pain. I lost my peripheral vision, my knees buckled and I barely hung on. I managed to make it to dinner but everyone knew something was wrong, I had no appetite and I guess I looked like hell. I told them “you know how some times you have an urgent need to pee and when you doing nearly kills you? It was like that.” And that was just a tiny speck of a stone, about the size of a quarter grain of rice. i can’t imagine what a larger one is like.

Kurt: I do not like finding out there is no information to a problem using the internet. When putting up Christmas lights last weekend there were 3 strands of Icicle lights not working at all. I could not find any information specific to icicle lights and no information to the brand either. I checked the fuses and the pass thru voltage on the plug. I opened the control box, and the components were encased in a resin. The actual LED bulbs were not plug in but a part of the wiring assembly. So, there was no way to fix the strand. Found the light set on HD and out of over 150 reviews there were 18 reviews where the strand had stopped working in a matter of weeks or a few months. I was kind of happy to get 2 years out of the set. If they go on sale after Christmas for $10, I will pick up some replacement sets. At 1/2 price I still would not buy them.

Good morning, everyone. Today is a therapy appointment and an appointment with the dietician. Not much else planned except to practice the guitar and cook dinner.

Good morning all. I get my second Shingle shot after work today. Had a very brief attack about 2 years ago. That was enough.

I finished my second shot in September. I did not have any reaction to the shots. I had a small bout with shingles last year on my face. I was lucky, shingles on the face can cause vision problems. I did not know that the nerves to your eyes pass through the nose area.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Well, we got our sunny version of cool yesterday - now, it's just going to stay cloudy and in 40's and 50's. So, some other putz I suppose.
"Fixed" the dimmer. Went to remove the bolts holding cabinet sections together in the bottom cabinet, and there is the touch plate wire on the hinge. Connected it back up and ..... DUH!
Yeah, I should go schedule that second shingles shot. Dr. said it's still OK for #2, after a long interruption with C shots. So, I guess...

First Shingles shot my arm hurt a little but not horribly. I was one of those people though that had pretty bad reactions to all 3 of my Covid shots. All Moderna, and all 3 made me sick as a dog about 16 hours after the injection and lasting for about 24 hours from that point. I think the vaccine actually left me feeling worse than when I'd had Covid beyond not lasting as long.

My BIL had shingles, so I was thankfully aware when I got a spot of pins and needles on my lower belly. I went in right away and sure enough... shingles. Treatment early makes it much easier, I'm sure. No reaction at all to the vaccine.

Something that has been interesting to me is that the pins and needles symptom of the shingles, spreading out from the rash site, has been something I've experienced with Covid. I get similar electrical charges shooting down the nerves in my legs. A niece of mine also gets them when she has Covid.

Isn't that one of the weirder things about Covid? That there are so many differing reactions?

I have determined that the folks behind the Pepperidge Farms brand are not my friends. Wife came home yesterday with their Limited Edition Milano Slice cookies with Peppermint, and Limited Edition Milano Amaretto Hot Cocoa flavored cookies.

They stick out due to their red packaging. My willpower is weak, so damn them to hell.

The brief outbreak of Shingles I had there was no rash whatsoever. I just had shooting pain behind my left ear up into the top of my head. It felt like someone stabbed me with a fork or something just above and behind my left ear and would radiate up and across my skull. Hurt so bad it brought tears to my eyes a few times and would just come over me, hurt like Hell, then be gone in minutes. I got lucky in that one of the PAs at my doctor's office had worked for several years in an Urgent Care and he's the one that suspected Shingles and prescribed the pills for it. Only took 2 or 3 days and it stopped.

    Afternoon all:
Definitely one of them years :annoyed:, had a deer sneak up behind me, I only saw it after I heard it take off at full throttle down through the woods, no shot, little later my buddy came walking up through the woods to me and while we were standing there 5 deer went through the woods off to our left at about 90-100 yds., no decent shot their either. :annoyed::annoyed:

I remember a few years back I walked out of deer camp one morning on opening day (got a late start, it was already legal hunting time) and within 50 yards of camp, dropped a nice buck. I was back in camp, had it hanging and gutted and was having my second cup of coffee by 9:00am. I spent the rest of the hunt trout fishing mountain lakes. The next 2 years I never saw a shootable deer. I guess that’s why its called hunting and not harvesting.

Actually had a short day at work and my order at best buy came in early so I went and picked it up.

    https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sku/6505885.p?skuId=6505885

Next thing I need will be the Nvidia streaming device but i wont be able to order it until next week after i get paid.

NVIDIA SHIELD Android TV Pro Streaming Media Player; 4K HDR movies, live sports, Dolby Vision-Atmos, AI-enhanced upscaling, GeForce NOW cloud gaming, Google Assistant Built-In, Works with Alexa https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YP9FBMM

It's the same price at best buy so I may just go get it there. It was cheaper at Amazon but that must have just been for black friday or cyber monday.
