I keep hoping to see my old show car. Probably never see it again, but always hopeful.

Love the "jet exhaust" tail lights on the '62 and '63. Dad drove a '63 500 XL...Wimbledon white over red. The two of us spent many miles in that car. Still remember what it smelled like.

Well, I always try to look for vehicles I HAVEN'T taken pics of, so, I will try to stick that in my memory bank. And it will probably stick longer than something I am supposed to remember that's important.

    Afternoon all:

As usual. some pretty neat car show pics. Kurt , those "406" Fords are pretty neat, I know 2 guys who had them and the 405 hp. ones ran pretty decent.

His name was Jim and he got the ban hammer and we then lost contact with him. :(
I wish he was still with us, unfortunately he isn't.

Well, it's over, we saw nothing this morning :(.

Congrats Bucktails, sounds like you had a good season :thumbsup:.
There were plenty of acorns where we were hunting but not a lot of deer, there are different types of acorns and they seem to prefer one over the other. Of course, no snow so we can see what's going on, maybe we will find out in FL season if the weather is kind to us.

    @Oldie2007

Funny how often it's a car in the background of one of your shots that catches my eye. This week it was the white '48 Lincoln convertible in the 1966 red/white Volvo pic...what a nice ride that must be

That drives me nuts. I know I have pics of that, and they aren't showing up! It's a semi-regular there, and beautiful. I didn't see that flip hood Ford either until I edited the pics!

    EDIT: AND AH-HA!!!

    Morning all:

Of course, deer season closed yesterday and it's snowing today! :( :annoyed:
Looks like it won't amount to much, but years ago we had snow for the first day or sometime during the rifle season, not so much anymore.

:rain: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Wow! We got 2.72" last night and overnight, and 2" was from a separate band that wasn't the overnight front! Lots of thunder and downpours - a real old fashioned storm! (i.e. NOT severe!) I followed Cars and Coffee so I could post and see more - at least a dozen other photo groups, and I could not believe how many I missed - didn't even see. It was a crowd.

Nothing much on agenda or list, so looks like it's move some crates back to the attic, and football.

There were years I hunted Northern Potter County where it would lake effect sugar snow for days amounting to nothing while other times you would be down to a t-shirt and worry about losing venison from the temps. .:notsure:

Very true! I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers snow during deer season!

    Kurt, Great car show photos.

This guy is a Mexican Built 510. A15 (1500cc OHV engine) with a solid rear axle. They last forever! Bumpers and headlights imply 1974 or later. Ours were from Japan and built (1968-1973) with L16 (1600cc OHC) and an independent rear suspension. Tooling went to Mexico and was produced until 1980.

    Great weather this weekend.20221210_074514.jpg

Good morning fellow Porchatonians! We got 2 to 3 inches of wet packed snow yesterday. I'm ready for Summer.
