Evening all: Just bought a bacharach kit off of E-Bay, W/ free shipping.
It looks pretty clean.
Same kit (same seller) was on CL, here in PA., and I was going to call about it, but would have had to travel almost 2 hrs. one way.
Hope it has instructions!

I will be shooting in a Sporting Clays fundraiser tournament this Saturday. I haven't shot trap or skeet enough to be good at it...but it ill be a fun morning.

... ^^^ ... I love Sirus/XM and have it in the Tacoma and in the house for several years now.

You can always get a deal on it ... I am paying $25.00 for 6 mos on house Sirus radio and Tacoma renews next month. Sirus even gave me a free receiver for the house 2 years ago (had to only pay $8.00 for S&H).

The key is you have to let it expire the first time and make sure you stop and renew contract BEFORE the end date or it goes to regular price of about $15.00 per month.

Been doing this for several years and it works great. Also ... try NOT to call regular customer service number in the Philippines ...they are more difficult to negotiate the $25.00 deal and get freebies. (Got this info from Sirus rep last week on US aka Florida telephone line).

Evening all... another TGIF. Heading up to Conn. for a surprise 60th for my cousin. She thinks it's next weekend but her kids moved it up a week...Have a good weekend and hopefully we'll see Jim back...

Too bad there's not two sets of rules, one for the younger set and one for us old timers; you know like the insider trading rules, where one goes to prison for it and others are allowed to do it.

 

I think Jim was banned for political chat, not sure of that because the thread is gone now.

No political chat on the forums allowed. You can however move the chat to a PM or an email addy.

I for one am glad of the no political chat rule. This forum already has enough DB's without adding political chat into the mix.

Seems like most of my fun stuff is full of younger folks. Most of the younger "kids" get allong fine with me once they see we have the same interests.
