THX for the reminder to clean the hearing aids today. ;)

Good Morning. A balmy 31 here today with a high of 37 expected, overcast with a chance of wintery mix. And I was going to sow radish seeds in the garden this weekend.:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: HT has 28oz cans of whole tomatoes on sale this weekend. Bought 4 of them and will make tomato soup today. They also had pork shoulders on sale for .97 a LB, bought the limit of two.

I got my GMRS radio on order and went overkill with a Wouxon 1000G Plus for the truck.

I want to get my ham radio license, a fun review with the electronics and radio theory and have time to get a license. There are two activities, POTA and SOTA, Parks on the air and Summit on the air.
Both take a portable setup, place an antenna, and make contacts.

I haven't heard from Doc Bee (Nam corpsman with Parkinson's) for a few years, but I found one of his wonderful cartoons to keep my sense of humor going.

Good morning all. Those of you in west, I hope you get through the storms without incident. I’m going to run visit mom in the hospital today and head to the store before round 2 hits us. The truck is being stubborn going in and out of 4wd. I think I’m going to get all fluids changed this week. I do that every 50k miles.

Off for my morning 5 mile walk. Have a good day.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Will get warm enough for some putz today, but nicer tomorrow. I don't want to get jeans back out for 1 day! It's a damp chill, so even 58* yesterday felt much worse than it was. Actually going to dinner and play tonight!

He worked his but off getting the word out, "Vietnam Veteran who was exposed to Agent Orange?"
    Quick Steps are here:
    https://thedopaminechronicles.wordpress.com/agent-orange-sign-up/

    Additional details:
    https://vva.org/what-we-do/outreach-programs/agent-orange/

We had a group of volunteer students (all working on Ph.D. in Physical Therapy) join us for boxing today. The hard workout they weren't expecting, so I told one
to drill my boxing partner on medical facts for a moment (He's a retired Pedtician); then on math with me as we did boxing drills. I was shocked, sweating,
and out of breath, and didn't miss one question (i.e. what is 5 cubed?). 7 cubed (I had to think ok, 7x49 ... 280 + 63; uh.... ) some I could rapid fire, others
I had to think for a moment. Good exercise and mental challenge!

Having been retired for the past 28 years, I find it difficult to accept that someone would willingly rise from the comfort of a warm bed at this ungodly hour every day in order to be the first to admonish the world for remaining sound asleep.
I conclude, Sir, that you are a rooster, or that you have a urinary condition that prevents you from enjoying your bed, or also possible that you have an automated program on your computer that simulates your wakefulness. as for myself, put me in the second category. Top of the day to you.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals and Sue! Enjoyed the pizza and the play last night. "The 39 Steps", presented with 4 performers on stage. Adaptation of early Hitchcock movie. Was a lot of crazy fun and laughs. Next two weeks is lawn kick start, so I will start messing with stuff today at some point. Have to get my back to cooperate first - didn't get the bed adjusted right, I guess!

Oh, yeah. Forgot to mention the Pizza place got packed with "seniors" while we were there. Virtually all of the "seniors" having pizza - were at the play!

My dad had Parkinsons, which started getting bad in his early 90's, at which time he had a TIA. Post TIA, the Parkinsons went away for a couple of years. No more shakes and no more sippy cups, though it eventually came back. 102 was a good run.

On another note, I really wish I hadn't let my ham license expire.
