I was doing really well when the previous administration ends, not thinking about taken the profits due to other financial related concern; it took a down turn right after that as you might also seen it, my account dropped half of what it was.
I can say me too, being between the rock and a hard spot of the situation with the inflation has no ending insight. :annoyed:

Good morning. Grocery shopping at HT today, 5% off for seniors on Thursday. I also have two prescriptions to pick up. Going to the gym early to get my back and shoulder stretching in before there is an 8:30 aerobics class in the room. I ordered a Wi-Fi extender yesterday to provide coverage in the far end of the house and the back yard.

    Morning all:

I am not happy! Just saw where a survey said people would be happy making 75k a year, a new survey jumped it to 500k a year, looks like I am going to be miserable for quite a while!

I had one one and took it out…
Cut my WiFi speeds like 40%. Couldn’t figure out why my service sucked until I started using a online speed check. I took it out and it actually did stuff.
It still sucks but not as bad.
    I relocated my router.

I still have it. I’ll send it to you and you can throw it in the trash after you try it. Lol

A little something every chance we get.
:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Didn't do much other than make sure the washer got installed, and put the junk that was in the way back in the utility room. Barely even minor Putz. Oh well, that must be what Thursday is for!

Me neither until the very end. But, I have more money now than when I was working! Go figure!

Imagine my shock when I went to repack my wheel bearings.

I use that fancy new synthetic but have already changed it three times before 20,000 miles.

I took my wife's Honda CRV in for inspection; 4137 miles after two years.

Yesterday, up early for my dentist appointment. Flossed twice, the Waterpik and sonic toothbrush. I showered and dressed, and they called me, "Do you realize you were here in January?" It seems I had gotten two sets of appointments every four months! I go in three to four times a year to avoid periodontal issues, but I didn't need to go in as the next appointment is in May. Hence got the inspection done, and picked up a new lawn mower battery, then off for a nice brisk 70-mile "drive like a bat out of hell" on our 80 mph toll road to get the engine hot and circulate the oil. My wife's short trips are horrible on a turbo engine, hence the toll road. I should have sneaked off to see Kurt, but I wanted to return before my wife woke up and wondered where I was.

The daughter and future son-in-law are off to Key West for a week. I like them to be in town before I head out for a camping trip. The maximum I feel comfortable with is leaving my wife for four days so the kids "stop by" to see how she is doing. She is stubborn, refusing palliative or hospice care; all her doctors are on board that keeping her comfortable is our best course of action. I need to remain active, cycling and hiking; hence I need to get out for long weekends. Knowing I have an eight-mile hike in a few months motivates me for six-mile walks, which helps my health. Somedays hard to get out of the house for a two-mile (40-minute) walk, let alone a two-hour walk or bike ride.

    Keep moving.

    Not at all.

I guess my gripe is that taxes has to be so complicated that you must use a person, software, or spend lots of time researching how to pay the least amount. Some bonds are tax exempt (muliciple bonds), some funds are deferred (401K, IRA, Roth, treasury bills, CD's, etc.), Stock loss and profit isn't that simple either. Monetary gifts, minimum tax credit, deductions for other tax paid, credits for stupid energy stuff, and the list goes on. For my rich brother-in-law its a full time job and the only thing he does right now is to move funds around each and every day then. His tax return is 100's of pages long. This is why I made the comment of having to pay money to pay money. I should also add spend tons of time.

It is kind of weird that most people pay taxes through their paycheck deductions and then they get the money back after they do their taxes. The pittance that gets paid by people making less than 100K a year hardly seems worth all the accumulated angst.
