On another news front, it's laundry day. New washer is VERY quiet. Water stays inside machine....
    That is all.

    Really?

They're selling for just under 200K from what I hear, so maybe just to Omni fans?

GLH were Dodge built, with components Shel picked out.
GLHS models, 500 made actually modded by Shelby shop.
one of the two has some value.

    PT Barnum applies...

Yeah, I don't know anything about any Omni Chrysler products.

I was wondering about the Olds powered Shelby that he designed from the ground up and only 249 made.

Shelby was spreading himself kind of thin at one point.

Back when those were built, Autoweek was alive. Long story about it. Having AJ do the test driving here in TX. Stuff like that. Story was open ended as I recall, because GM.
Last I ever heard of it. SERIES I it was called. It was built right when GM killed Olds, 2004. Some WERE built and sold. That's all I know about that. I'm sure someone has that story.

Fwiw.... the story is intertwined with the Ols Aurora, trying to set a speed record. The Aurora was the bones of Series I, in my pitiful memory cells.....

    Good morning Pals and Gal.
Sounds like a nasty storm headed for Connecticut. Snowblower and generator gassed up. Hit the gym this morning and then hunker down.

Good morning. Rained last night and we are expecting high winds today. Dinner tonight will be coconut shrimp, a mango salsa, rice, asparagus, and pineapple wedges for dessert. Not much else planned. I need to organize my sheet music and clean up the laundry room a little. The room is starting to become disorganized.

We have more than a foot of heavy wet stuff predicted for our neck of the woods here in New Hampshire. Fortunately I only drink a few glasses of milk per week and since the start of COVID I've been baking my own sourdough bread. :)

    Good morning all.

One of the coolest things about the Simeone Museum is that if you go on certain weekends Spring through Fall they will pull certain cars out of the collection and take them out into a back parking lot that's fenced off and actually run them so you can hear them under power. Not something you'll often get to experience. I keep wanting to get down there and really need to plan a trip as it's only 2 hours away for me.

    Morning all:

Homemade bread is good, don't get to eat it often, but when the opportunity arises I always enjoy it! :hungry:

I read an article years ago that stated that if a few banks go under every year the FDIC can fully cover deposits, if a lot of banks failed it would be pennies on the dollar, hopefully it never comes to that. I think there are banks that fail every year, but when the smaller banks fail it isn't national news, only when a major banks fail does it make the headlines.
Just looked, as of now the dow futures are only down 328, thought it would be worse, but the trading day is just beginning!

Oh Oh, looks like we could be in the bullseye for the storm, they are calling for possibly 12-18" of snow in our area, might get to use the snowblower for this one!
