I never even put gas in my snow blower this year, it'll go right back in storage. Mower will come out in a couple weeks, just gotta charge the battery for that. If it ever quits raining I'll spread some fertilizer and weed controll. I'm still part of the working rat race so I don't have as much time as you porch folk, lol.

Used mine once this Winter only to get rid of the berm left by the town plow.
Winter was pretty much a non-event here. All the big storms either swung South offshore or well to the North.
Ain't complaining as we'll pay for it later. Due to the non-Winter, ticks will be out of control.

Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Cloudy and warm before the rains start tomorrow. Take the cardboard to recycle with the doggo, then off to Lowe's and etc. Do a little yard work when I get back. Or, something like that.

WHICH REMINDS ME, need to add to my list to spray permethrin on my hunting clothing if I go turkey hunting.

Wait till you retire, you will soon find out that you will need to go back to work to get a rest!

Just ordered fuel oil, it looks like OPEC has announced it's cutting production, so hopefully I can avoid a jump in fuel price in the next month or so when I would have to fill it.

    I am still working.
The wife is still in the hospital; just waiting to ensure we have TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition - aka IV feeding) and wound care set up before she comes home.
I need to change the oil in the riding mower and push mower.

I have a McLane reel mower, bought by my Dad in 1966. Too heavy and perfect for a small lawn, but not 1.5 acres. I should get a new spark plug, air filter, and oil change. It still runs; Briggs and Stratton had new rings around 2001, but otherwise original. Time to put it in a Museum or on Craigslist (trying to clean out years of accumulation)?

I made it to the Doctor for my monthly check-up with the clinical studies. Much faster on my finger tap, foot tap, and hand flips. I was shocked at how quickly I was doing those this morning. Over most of my symptoms are reduced, so I suspect this isn't a placebo but some decent medication.

I've dealt with Parkinson's long enough to have everything affect me; most have about 1/3 of the unseen issues occur. I hope this stuff I take in the clinical trial makes it to the marketplace. The irony is over half the drugs introduced don't have enough volunteers to conduct trials, so the drug is withdrawn.

Agree with Ken @roundrocktom, but you sure handle all you're dealt like a pro. Best Karma to the both of you.

One of my favorite Tacoma colors! And now that you have the table set,!

    More erranding.

First scheduled generator 20 min. autorun this am. It will exercise once a week to keep the battery charged, check the system, report any issues, then return to standby mode. Off to town tomorrow to drop off a check for that puppy. I won't mail it, delivery being what it is these days.
Weather is nasty today, 85° already, crazy windy, tornadoes predicted. We're right on the edge of a storm string moving SW to NE. Bad place to be. Nice to know genny is on the fence. Won't get the grass cut today... would be like mowing the creek.

OK, guys, I screwed up the veggie pics the other day - all you got was tomato wall..... BUT - successful erranding today COMPLETED my Bell Pepper collection. Among 3 or 4 other peppers, I now have in Bells: Green, Orange, Red, Purple, Yellow, Orange, and even Blonde!

I read an article about controlling AFIB when an episode begins by using physical means. I've tried a couple and they work for me. Don't know if you are aware of that kind of thing. One way is to get up against a wall with your butt and put your legs straight up against the wall. Another is to hold your nose and blow as hard as you can against the closed nostrils. I know there are other ways, but I don't remember them, you'd have to look it up.

    Good morning fellow Porchatonians!!

Hope the meds get to market for you, Tom. ANd, thanks for being part of the trial - helps you and many others.

SPent about 3 hours moving dirt - leftover from the bathroom expansion late last year. STarted of with two flat tires on the cart - once I got those fixed it was just drudge work. Back is a little tender this morning but not too bad.

Be safe and enjoy the day!

    Morning
Had a loft project I had to complete yesterday.
I knew it wasn’t 100% complete last year but I just had to get it done enough to store stuff.
So I had to remove my cross bracing and take the bow out of the beam and use a doubler.
Then reinstall the cross bracing and install a set of supports to the rafters like I did on the front.

Nice and straight and secure now….

    On to more stuff..

Tom: Prayers to you and the wife. Please let me know if you are doing a charity ride again this year.

Good morning. Yesterday went really well. Wife is happy with the color for the outdoor furniture. The chair is painted and will assemble today. The bench will have the first spray coat on before I go to my music class. Looked on line at Lowes to get info on more rattle cans of paint and it said " Not Available". Only place I could find it was on Amazon with a Friday delivery. Took my son to work at 6:45 this morning and stopped by Lowes hoping to find another can hidden somewhere. Lowes ad the spray paint and it is discontinued. Marked down from $6.98 a can to $5.15 a can so I bought 4 cans. I have to get a lotto ticket today. LOL I will post up a pic after I assemble the chair today.
